If you want to experience true french (and Quebec French!) hospitalitly come here! Sylvie is a wonderful hostess, she is welcoming, kind, friendly and can't do enough to make you feel at home and comfortable. The property, her home is so steeped in French history and oozing French charm that you feel like your on a romantic movie location and yet it's completely down to earth and homely. The bedrooms have the wow factor and one of the rooms we stayed in the kids decided to name it the "Princess" bedroom - truly gorgeous. Sylvie was so attentive and thoughtful and we enjoyed a fun swim in their lovely warm pool. She also told us all about the history of the house and how it came to be owned by their family, which was so interesting with photos of how it has changed over the last couple of centuaries. They also have a key and historical information about the Church immediately next door. You can go and have look inside and we were even allowed to ring the bells which was a lovely extra memory for our holiday we weren't expecting but was a fantastic bonus. Also like other reviewers have mentioned in the moring for breakfast her pancakes were delcious and they just kept coming! we were all very happily full for our journey home :D Plus she does a great cup of tea - another added bonus for those Brits who might stay ; ) Very peaceful and a great place to stay over on our way home.

Lovely rural property in beautiful village, with many many hints of yesteryear. We, a family of 5, stayed in the dove house, charming and quirky. Lovely breakfast, including pancakes and maple syrup, kids in heaven. All good ...

We felt really welcomed and our room was very homely and comfortable. The pool is clean and lovely to swim and the building is so beautiful and has so much history which was really interesting. Our boys loved it and it's so quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was amazing, great home cooked bread, I think the best I have ever tasted! Homemade jams and pancakes, also organic produce for sale from their farm. A great stay, thank you.

The Priere et Pigeonier was a great start to our holiday. We arrived after a long days driving to a warm welcome, and a swim in the pool, very good especially for our children. We loved the outdoor kitchen, and visiting the beautiful and rather crumbling church next door. The Priory itself and the surrounding farm buildings are also beautiful, and a sociable breakfast of pancakes and maple syrup - Sylvie is from Quebec - was delicious. Thank you Gilles and Sylvie!

We got there in the pouring rain with an extra family in a camper van that had not booked in. Our hosts were amazing - nothing was a problem. Breakfast was delicious. Can't recommend it highly enough. It's an amazing place.
