The 15 miles of mountains that surround Ojai offer some of the most beautiful hiking trails in the USA with views, waterfalls and natural sulfur hot springs. There are some natural sulphur hot springs 4 miles away that can be reserved in 2 hour segments of $20 per person.
Stripping beds of linen is much appreciated at the end of your stay.

Please remove any garbage to cans behind kitchen before you leave to avoid encouraging critters. Open unattended doors can also attract critters!
Carol Cilliers Blaschke is an astrologer/metaphysician/healer, avid yoga practitioner, mostly raw foodie. I was born and lived in Southern Africa for 20 years before coming to the San Francisco Bay area. I currently mostly live in Ojai, and also in Venice Beach, California. I have traveled a great deal all over the world and tend to be pretty casual, preferring hiking and being in nature but also love some cultural input.
Aubrey Balkind was a creative graphic designer with work in numerous museums. Presently, he uses his "baby-mind" to solve strategic business and lifestyle opportunities that effect health. I grew up in South Africa and came to the USA to attend Columbia University's MBA program and thrived for 40 years in New York. The west coast beckoned, so I moved about 6 years ago settling in Venice Beach and recently in magical Ojai. Love yoga, hiking, bicycling, creating and eating Carol's amazing, rejuvenating raw food.
