Judith's beautiful north facing studio is an ideal spot for a romantic get away. Surrounded by bush with its attendant birdsong, it's private and quiet. A brief walk down to Hekerua Bay gives you access to a great little spot for swimming. The location on Queens Drive is handy to shops, restaurants and vineyards

Response from Judith:
Hi Bernie thanks for your review and the septic is difficult to manage on hot nights especially... but plan to empty it this winter...didn't want to do it over the summer as it can be even worse. I hope it didn't spoil things too much . it is ghastly. Best Judith

What a wonderful apartment—and on a wonderful island too! At a walking distance from Oneroa and its restaurants, bars and wineries, Judith's house has one of the best views that I've ever seen. The bedroom has a huge floor-to-ceiling window, facing the sea and the surrounding trees. It's breathtaking. Besides the occasional birds chirping, all is silent. My husband and I live in Auckland and went to Waiheke for the first time last weekend, with my brother who was visiting from Italy. We couldn't find a better place. As for Judith, she's the perfect host. She has provided heaps of useful information on what to do and see around. The town of Oneroa is just 20 minutes far if you walk, probably 2 or 3 if you have a car. The apartment was also impeccably clean and well-equipped with everything you need. I can only imagine how much more you could do over there during Summer, but to be honest I can't complain. HIGHLY recommended.

It was a very enjoyable stay at the Beach stay. Judith had already told us she would not be their over Easter and left us a kind note with clear information and a little easter present. A good start. The apartment is situated at the lower level of the house but is very private, surrounded by Waiheke's sub tropical bush. Beautiful sea views slightly broken by the cabbage trees. It was as I had imagined. Good price/quality! We did a lot of walking. The house is ideally situated with private access to the main track and a small beach. I will definitely recommended Beachstay to my friends and relations.

Judith made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Our holiday was perfect, we really enjoyed walking down the steps to the beach most days. The view from the bedroom was simply amazing! It was so relaxing and all you could hear was Tuis and cicadas! We didn't want to leave!

The beachstay was delightful, clean, airy, with stunning views completing the picture, certainly would not shut the curtains as it was gorgeous to see the sunrise from the bed each morning. It was really well equipped and we loved the personal touches. Walking through the bush to the beach took about 10 minutes and you can then do coastal walks to other beaches. About 25 minutes walk away from Oneroa so we walked to and from restaurants each evening. Highly recommended.

A wonderful location. Quiet and serene in a wonderful bush setting. Great for transport. A secluded hideaway . The panoramic bush views and distant water view from the floor to ceiling bedroom window was spectacular
