Our wonderful glamping site opened in June 2015 and consistently attracts 5* reviews from satisfied guests. Keen campers ourselves, we've tried to think of everything to make your stay very comfortable while maintaining the spirit of camping. A great alternative to traditional bed and breakfast, Barnutopia offers bed and breakfast or self-catering in authentic fully furnished Mongolian yurts, stables, a cabin and a bunkhouse. Each unit has power, light, heating and free Wi-Fi. If you fancy a break from cooking, breakfast, packed lunches and evening meals can be ordered. Our glamping units allow you to enjoy the freedom and thrill of camping in total comfort.
Shared kitchen shack, boot room, dining room, TV lounge in party barn (if not booked for exclusive use). Shared guest bathroom and 2 x nice (clean, flushing, lighted) portable toilets. Please bring your own towels.
Interaction with guests
We are a family business and live with our four children and two dogs in the main farmhouse. We also have horses, pigs and cats. We love meeting our guests and strive to ensure their comfort at all times. If you need something, all you need to do is ask -- if we can help, we will.
Other things to note
Well behaved pets are permitted. Please get in touch to discuss arrangements. Most of the major supermarkets offer online ordering and delivery to our farm.

* Parties are allowed with whole site (7 units) bookings. Ask about the party barn.
Barnutopia is a hidden gem set in the gorgeous Shropshire countryside, yet only 5 miles from Oswestry, one of the oldest market towns in Britain. It is a great base for sight-seeing, walking and other outdoor activities such as mountain biking, rock climbing or canoeing. It is perfect for birthday parties, family get-togethers, hen weekends and corporate retreats.

Barnutopia is the home of Steve and Katrina Boydon. After living abroad in Russia, France and United States for 20+ years, they returned home to set up a yurt campsite. Easy going and friendly, they love to welcome guests to their beautiful farm in rural Shropshire on the North Wales - England border.
