Our home has hardwood floors, tonnes of light from big windows on all sides. It's a few steps away from Victoria park, & 30 second walk from cafes, shops & restaurants of the Drive - the most fun & ethnically diverse area in the city.
It's a warm, bright and lovely space. A 1920s heritage house, and we're on the second floor with views of a park on one side, a pedestrian street on another, and a peek at the mountains at the north side. We have mid century furniture around the house, stereo, record player with old records, TV, DVD, etc.
Private entrance at front of house with front porch. One queen bed in master bedroom. One small bedroom with blow up mattress. We also have a crib for babies, and are relatively childproof. And a separate living room with TV, stereo, record player, etc. Little kitchen with gas stove, oven, full pots and pans.
Interaction with guests
Minimal. We will likely be away when guests are here. But we'll have a friend available if emergencies or difficulties come up.
Other things to note
We'll post more photos soon. But if you need more, we're happy to send them along earlier!
The place is available August 7-14th!
No smoking. No pets. Family friendly.
Respect! Our neighbours live downstairs. No need to tiptoe around, but it's also not a party house...this is our home and our happy relationship with our neighbours on all sides of the house is important to us. Talk to them! They're really nice people!

I love to explore, eat good food, am inspired by art, and I get around my city mostly on my bicycle. When I travel, I like to stay at small hotels or in local neighbourhoods in order to experience places a little closer to what they are for the people who live there.
I also have a lovely wife and shiny new daughter!
I'm fairly new to this airbnb, but I've used it and stayed before through my wife's profile, and we both can provide references from where we've stayed before through Airbnb.
