The casita--partly imported from Indonesia, with additions that are more in the local Mexican vernacular--is charming and enchanted. It is located a 40 minutes walk (or 10 minute cab ride) from town, near a secluded beach, in the forest. It has a small main/bedroom, with two full beds, complete with pleasingly draped mosquito nets (we weren't bothered by any bites), that opens onto a large balcony by way of a sliding door. There is also an addition that contains a shower, a commode, and a sink that does double duty for the "kitchen" (a coffeemaker, dishrack, and mini-fridge). The set-up isn't necessarily for everyone, but for us it made a great getaway.

Response from Lizstudio@Lizcollinsart.Com:
Thank you Miraim, we also love our little piece of paradise! And you're right , the bathroom/ mini kitchen set up isn't for everyone. It is a smallish space so we wanted to provide some way of making coffee, heating up leftovers, etc. and so we decided the bathroom/ kitchen setup was better than not at all, for those who want it. We hope you can visit again! (The main house has a full kitchen!)
