Very nice and casual, lovely spot in the country, but true to their ad, just under 30 minutes to State College. The bathroom was cramped for our larger guest member, but very clean and plenty of towels, which we loved. Easy to get in and out, good value overall.

Cool concept. Antique fixtures, impressive fireplace area on the main floor, and lots of taxidermy made us feel like wandering cowboys (in a good way). The room itself was small but smartly laid out to utilize the space. Check in and out could not have been simpler. Triple Creek Lodge is located right at the heart of a dreamy little town close to great hiking trails and an easy scenic drive from State College. We were in the area to see live music at the local brewery which is just steps away. Morning coffee from a nearby roaster was excellent and served alongside a simple and tasty slice of homemade cake. Overall we had a great stay and found Meg to be an easygoing and appropriately communicative host. Highly recommended for a low maintenance getaway to any single traveler or couple passing through this part of PA.

We were so happy to book at this location. After spending a wonderful weekend with our grown up children at Penn State and going to the football game, it was a pleasure to come back to a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The drive to Penn State and back was just lovely. The views were gorgeous. We would definitely stay here again and next time we want to visit the restaurant and have coffee at the cafe. Response from Triple Creek:
Phil, I am so sorry about the coffee cups. We, Triple Creek Lodge, do not own the Coffee Shop. The space is leased from us . We let them know how many guests we have on Saturday nights and they provide French presses and pastries for our guests. This only happens on Saturday nights stays due to the Coffee shop is not open on Sundays. The password should have been in your confirmation email. We have some bugs to work out with our Airbnb customers ? Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are a small family run operation and try our best to make sure everything is just right!!
