Welcome to Heusteigviertel - most beautiful neighbourhood with beautiful historic buildings. There are a lot of nice cafés and restaurants nearby. The the city centre is a 15-20 minute walk! Our street is quiet and the bedroom is very bright.

The space

Still central but already super silent and super light-flooded. A bedroom where you are happy to wake up opening the windows to the morning sun. You are off the noisy centre and streets. But there in 10min if you feel like.

Guest access

On top of the bedroom, guests will be able to use the kitchen, fully-equipped including all you need to prepare a proper meal, clean your clothes and even dry them.

Interaction with guests

Feel free to dine with us if we are home and cook. We can also tell all the tips about the city, having lived here for 15 years.

Other things to note

Stuttgart lies in a valley - the centre strectches over some kilometres. So does our street. Its very long. Our flat is oocated in the south - at the opposite side than the main train station. That makes it more calm. Please have a look at the map, to avoid you are not disappointed.

We had a spectacular stay with Angelique and Jens. First, photos don't do the view from the room justice. We woke up to a spectacular green hillside above the well-preserved pre war buildings that comprise the neighborhood. The location was so close from central station - a 5 minute walk and then a 9 minute train ride ( less than 30 min if you want to walk the whole thing)- But really for top notch food and drink you won't have to go that far. A five minute walk is the spectacular Vetter. While deciphering the German-only hand written menu, take a deep breath and remember everything they make is spectacular or just text Jens. Alaturka around the corner is the best Turkish food I've had outside of Istanbul. But most important, Jens and Angelique were just lovely people. My husband wasn't feeling great towards the end of our stay and they both reached out to make sure he was ok and to ask if there's something they could do. They're super generous with their space (which is all together gorgeous). I am not usually this verbose with reviews but really, go book this place. You won't regret it.

Fresh, quiet and light room in a central location in Stuttgart with two wonderful hosts. Thanks to the recommendations from Jens & Angelique we saw ballet in the park, fireworks from the mountain and found great restaurants. If you want to explore Stuttgart, this is your place to start.

We had a nice experience here... Even though our hosts were out of town, they made sure everything was taken care of for us. We were met by Jen's mom, Helga, Who gave us the keys and lots of great travel tips. The restaurants were in walking distance, The buses and subways were easy to use, the apartment was basic but had everything that we needed!

It was great staying here! The location was perfect and Angelique gave us plenty of information on how to get to the apartment. The room was super clean and as depicted and we had free use of the kitchen, bathroom and lounge room. It was a great stay here

Such a lovely couple and beautiful place. Quite location but close the action if you seek it. The room actually looks better in person. They welcomed me with a German beer and I left with a good breakfast in my stomach.

Beautiful appartment & spacious room in a very lively neighbourhood. Angélique is a great host, she stayed awake until we finally arrived late in the evening.

Angélique User ProfileAngélique is a superhost.

I am a French living in Suttgart, interested in travelling to other countries and discovering other cultures, food and languages. I speak French, English and Spanish and am still learning German.

The first accommodation I am offering is one room in my flat in Stuttgart.
The second one is a hut on my parents' place in the Philippines, where they went to spend their retirement (my mom is Filipina). So they now live in Romblon, a charming island perfect for relaxing. Romblon is located in the middle of the Philippines, close to Boracay, and was once very rich because of marble trade. Now this business is declining, which leaves the island with a wealthy past and lovely landscapes scattered with marble. The city center is a very interesting place to visit. There are also nice snorkeling and diving spots around the island.
