Nice house in a small town. In the town you have stores, café, thermal pool, great waking trails. The view from the house to the mountains and the sea is amazing.

We enjoyed our stay. The views are to die for and definitely were the highlight of our stay. The shower water temperature is a bit erratic and mostly cold. The shower head itself is broken and so the water sprays out the side of the head, making the water pressure low. Also, water seems to leak from the shower flooring and makes a bit of mess. The mattresses weren't the most comfortable and the Scandinavian-style top blanket was a bit small for me. I'm 6 foot and my toes stuck out from the blanket. We did really enjoy the kitchen and all the amenities there. We were able to cook all of our own meals and enjoyed relaxing in the living room. Altogether, it was a nice place and we would consider renting again.

The house was perfect for our group of 5 visiting for the Fossavatn ski loppet. Convenient location to get to Isafjordur and explore the area. We were impressed with the amazing views and well equipped kitchen. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lilja's house in Bolungarvik. The house was comfortable and clean. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of space. We particularly enjoyed the town of Bolungarvik. I'd highly recommend the quaint Einerhusid restaurant on Hafnargata. The owner gave us a tour of the historic house and even played his accordion and sang. He gave us some local history and introduced us to a local "legend" who skied to the north pole. Then there's the oldest store in town where the owner also gave us a tour of their historic building. .... Lilja and the Bolungarvik residents are really great. The more touristy (and expensive) Isafjordur is only a 10 minute drive away. There are more tourist options there but it's nice to come back to the quiet frindliness of Bolungarvik.

We packed our bags for the Westfjords not knowing what to expect. What we discovered when we arrived was a lovely house on a quiet street in a beautiful small town. The location was ideal- not too far from the supermarket and restaurants in Ísafjörður, and surrounded by the mountains and streams that make this area so wonderful. In the house, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed, and the views were impressive. Lilja was also accommodating when we had to adjust our travel plans.

Það var mjög notarlegt að gista í húsinu hennar Lilju .Og hún hafði líka komið með eina auka dínu +sæng og rúmföt fyrir okkur, vegna þess að við vörum sjö .Vill ég þakka fyrir það :)
