This place is in a great location, walking distance from everything yet on a quiet street so you can rest peacefully. The apartment was very spacious with the exception of the small shower. Overall it was perfect for our needs. Would definitely stay here again or recommend to others!

The location it self is great! The person meeting us (Ryan, not the host) was super nice and made it easy to find, although I got kind of lost due to streets being closed cause of construction. I was so excited to be in Puerto Rico that I seemed to overlook a lot of issues, especially considering the price. The kitchen is old and dingy, the stove was dirty and rusty. One of the kitchen chairs was a bit cracked. The coffee maker looked so bad I didn't even use it. The sheets were clean however the comforters were stained or dirty, I couldn't tell and since I don't use them it didn't really matter. When I arrived my plan was to wash however the washing machine was out of service. And the wifi being advertised is a joke! I went out that night to buy a few groceries and when I returned there were roaches all over the kitchen. The next morning I texted Ryan but he didn't respond so I called him. He immediately brought bug spray. That night again we saw bugs so we sprayed every night and morning before we left. I figured since we were hardly at the room it didn't matter. When we showered that evening I realized how tiny the shower was. You could feel the shower curtain on your body so I pushed it out making water leak onto the floor. The next morning I called Ryan for a mop and her brought it. I used up all the bug spray they provided so instead of bugging the hosts I went out and purchased one with my money along with toilet paper and paper towels. The bug problem seemed to calm down a little but did not go away. I made sure to sweep every night and take out the trash. Two day before we left I called Ryan for some clean towels. The morning we checked out I texted Ryan and called him to ask him where to leave key but he didn't reply. We ate breakfast at the room and when my daughter sat on the chair we heard it crack some more. I immediately called the host Bob and told him about chair and about the check out. He said it was fine and to leave the keys on table. We picked up the room and left. That evening I receive a message from Bob or Lia asking about the chair so instead of explaining by message, I called. I immediately knew that not taking pictures of the chair was a big mistake. They were trying to blame me and said the were charging me $40 for the chair. Bob was extremely rude and disrespectful. I was appalled when he called my family animals for breaking his $300 chair. Enduring his dirty ass bug infected apartment was tolerable but insulting my family is NOT OKAY. I will never ever stay here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Apparently...

It's a great place if you are looking for something in Old San Juan. It's a bit of a walk uphill, but the great thing is that it is away from all the bustle and hustle of the city.

Perfect place to stay. Nice, clean, simple accommodations with lots of charm. Walking distance to everything in old San Juan. Bathroom is tight, but rest of the flat is roomy. Host was helpful and communicative. We loved it!!

Great location, the kids loved the ability to walk to everything we could possibly need in Old San Juan. You'll definitely need to put some effort into parking, it is all residential on the street.
