I had a wonderful time staying at Mali's place. She lives in Baka, one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Jerusalem which is walking distance from several shops and restaurants. The Old City is just a short bus ride away. Mali was a very gracious and generous host. The apartment is lovely and the room is large, comfortable and with a private bathroom. There is also a beautful balcony that is perfect to sit out on at night. I had a great trip to Israel and am very happy that I was able to stay in Mali's house. Highly recommend to all visitors.

The listing was accurate, with the place quite large and clean. The host was kind enough to separate the beds for us so we were comfortable. As she was home all day of our visit, we were also able to be flexible about our arrival time that evening. The apartment is in south Jerusalem, and it takes about 15-20 minutes by (infrequent) buses to get to the tourist attractions. There was also some loud construction going on during our visit which woke us up very early in the morning. The host was kind in letting us know this, and in offering to help us get around Jerusalem or give us advice. We had noted we would want to exit around 9am the next morning, which she said she had no preference regarding. However, as 8am hit, our host very loudly spoke to other people about our 9am departure, rudely noting that we should have been awake and ready to leave by then. We left by 9am (as planned) after hearing this message but didn't appreciate the way it was conveyed. Overall, she was not terribly welcoming. The room was clean and acceptable though.

Mali is a very welcoming and friendly person. I had a pleasant time in her apartment and felt like at home from day one. We had good talks and Mali even taught me how to cook traditional persian food. The apartment is located in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Jerusalem called Baka. This area is bustling with life and lined with shops, designer stores, coffee houses, restaurants and more.

It was my first airbnb experience and so was to Mali. I was welcomed by her son in law as Mali was out at the time of my arrival. He was nice and showed me around the house and close neighbourhood. Soon after when Mali came back, had some chats and she recommended a good place to walk to near her house. The neighbourhood is really nice, quiet but there are some nice small shops and restaurants. Mali recommended me to go to this walkway along the old railway which leads to a square with restaurants, shops and small stage where music is played time to time. I loved the walk very much. I also walked to Jerusalem old city - from the side of Zion Hill. It probably took me 1 hour on foot, on the way went through nice park and first Jewish settlement which is worth going too. House is quiet, peaceful, pleasant and homy. I felt like I was back at my parents house. One small draw back is that bathroom is located a bit far from the room and you share with Mali, and house is rather old. Overall I really liked Mali and her house and would definitely go back.

Mali était formidable, très accueillante, hospitalière. En fait quand on arrive dans un pays où on ne connait pas très bien, on est plus ou moins perdu et Mali voit très bien ce point, elle aide avec une attention sincère.
