Truly special place to stay. We were able to walk to herring cove to watch the bears and zip line. We boarded the skiff and caught salmon. It is secluded so be prepared to take a taxi, hitchhike, or walk/ bus (latter makes for an adventure) unless you have a vehicle. Be sure to h…

There is a part of me that does not want anyone else to know what a hidden gem this is. For fear that I will never be able to stay there in the future. A true slice of Alaska.

We have stayed with Gail and her cabins before. These are great cabins in such a quiet tranquil setting. It also helps that the best burgers in Ketchikan are just down the steps on the dock. Thanks again Gail. We will see you next year.

Gail is a wonderful host, very accommodating. The place is clean and well stocked with kitchen needs & blankets. We didn't have cell reception at the cabin, but it does have wifi. Peaceful location away from town, close to fishing & bear viewing.

Nice, quiet, clean spot south of town. Would go again. Thanks!

It would have been nice to have soap for our hands and shower. Also a small vacuum would have been nice with all the needles that we tracked in. The cabin was very nice and the beds were very comfortable.

Absolutely loved this location! It was great to go into town for various activities, but always have this nice spot to retreat to. Took about 12 minutes to drive to downtown Ketchikan. Gail was very friendly and warm. Highly recommend!
