Riccardo's apartment is very well and thoughtfully appointed, it is conveniently located close to Ciampino airport and he provides thorough information on how to get to to other parts of Rome. Communication with Riccardo was very quick and informative.

SUMMARY: Very good location on the outscirts of Rome, especially if you are traveling with a child. Riccardo is providing great support and gives recommendations where to eat, where to go and some tips an tricks when in Rome. ACCOMMODATION: Lovely villa with separate area for guests, so you enjoy privacy and comfort. You have your own veranda with table, chairs, BBQ and swings. Accommodation has everything you need for cooking and washing. It is airconditioned, so you will not suffer from Italy's hot weather :) There is a very nice restaurant next to the flat (for pizza), bakery and supermarket. OTHER: there is a parking place next to house. I would recommend this house!

Very good stay. Riccardo and his dad were very helpful. The place is small but it has everything you need. Its in Ciampino area, so if you don't have a car and going to use a train - it will be tricky. But one of the good things for walking lovers - is Appian Way (Appia Antica) is just 20 mins walking from the house. So if you feel like walking 15km to Rome via beautiul green road full of ancient ruins then that is the way! We did it twice! Also a supermarket is super close - they sell everything to have good fresh pasta! Thank you Riccardo for having us!

Ricardo was incredibly helpful and welcoming on our (my cousin and her two small children) first trip to Italy. He offered us tips about traveling as well as made us feel very comfortable and open to ask for help if we needed it. We learned from him what was necessary to make our way around Ciampino/Rome. He tells you/gives you access to the information you need. He is an incredibly friendly host. You have your privacy but are also free to contact him if you need anything. The location was really nice because we were able to walk to the train station which connected us to the Roma Termini which allowed us to access various parts of Rome. The home is also really close to the Ciampino airport which is super convenient. The home was very comfortable for two adults and two small children to stay. We did get a little lost finding the house (our fault), but Ricardo walked out to the main street to greet us to make sure we found our destination which was really nice and also took us to the airport on our departure which really helped us out a lot. I highly recommend staying here.

Staying with Riccardo and Cristina was a pleasure. The communication from Riccardo was excellent. He contacted us before we got there and every day to check we were okay. Any issues that we had were sorted straight away. He was also very supportive and helpful. We even rang him in Rome once and he gave us advice and spoke to someone on the phone for us. His parents live with them too, and they were equally as welcoming. His mum greeted us and his dad picked us fresh figs from their tree. It was easy to get to Rome from their. We drove to Cinecitta metro station, parked their for €1.50 (for 12 hours) and then got the metro to the centre of Rome each day. We were their for 3 days so got a 72 hour metro ticket for €18pp. It was simple. Cristina and Riccardo were also really helpful with information and advice about restaurants etc. In the apartment, the wifi and air con were excellent. The apartment was very clean and well organised, including recycling bins separated into different materials. It has everything we needed, including a washing machine and an iron. It was ideal for coming back to rest after a long day in Rome. It was also really close to at least 3 supermarkets, one which is across the road so it's only 2 minutes walk away. They also had a big dog called Roy who was so lovely, very quiet, gentle and friendly. Overall, I would highly recommend "a due passi" to anyone visiting Rome that wants to be within easy reach of the city without being caught up in the hustle and bustle.

We arrived very late in the evening but that wasn't a problem at all. Riccardo welcomed us very friendly. I told him that I surprise my girlfriend with this journey to Rome. He gave us a little bottle of Prosecco for a romantic start into your little trip to Rome. That was very sweet! He provided also water and coffee. He explained us everything we needed to know. He gave us usefull tipps and very great locations in the neighborhood were we can get something for breakfast, dinner or shopping. He provided wireless LAN, we had airconditioning and TV. When the tour was nearly over and we startet to get to the airport Riccardos father was so kind and drove us to the airport. We enjoyed the time at Riccardos place very much and would stay there next time again. Mille Mille grazie!
