My friend and I stayed here for two nights and I have to say if you're looking for a cozy spot in Rome, it's this one. Simone was available for us to give us the keys and show us how to use them. Although we didn't really get to see him after that, Francesca was there and was very helpful, welcoming, and hospitable. Plus, they have a dog! Nothing beats staying at a home with a dog. It's a bit far from the main touristic sites like the Colosseum, but the drive there makes it faster. Thank you so much for having us!
A great place to explore Rome. Nice big room with balcony with big bathroom just opposite the room. The apartment is large and very cool. Its 10 mins to the Metro (with a few great cafes on the way) so breakfast was never a problem. We also took a bus 5 mins from the apartment to central Rome. The area is a nice residential area and it was nice to explore away from the main tourism areas - we found great food locally and the prices were much better than when we got into cental Rome. We'd recommend this place and would return when in Rome again.
Simone's apartment is spacious and chilled and has this boho chic feel to it. Nice taste definitely. The room itself is huge and pretty too. We love it! Simone himself is real chilled and very helpful, responsive to all the need we had. And Simone's dog, most lovely cuddly chap, he's like doing the host job too, welcoming everyone home! We hang out with Rinta quite a bit after a long day out and about. As in the location-wise, some may find it a bit further away, but we did walk to the attractions or just a train ride away you're in central rome. The fact that its more residential, makes the pizzas cheaper, there's a pizza takeaway place near the station, that's like only half price than the central Rome, totally a steal. It was closer to colosseum, caracalla, and aquaduct park. We walked to all of that. We went to aquaduct park via Via Appia Antica about half a day, it was tranquil and breathtakingly beautiful. If anyone got spare time, do have a look at that, can do bike rides too!
Simone was away but Francesca hosted my sister and I for a week. Francesca was very sweet and accommodating. The place is close to many amazing restaurants that locals go to, our favourite was Osteria del cavaliere (went there 4 times in a week) and Osteria 22 Quattro and dessert places. The walk to the metro/subway was fine. Our only issue was that we were not made aware before booking that there is a dog. The whole place and private bathroom were very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The room was very spacious and allowed for lots of sunlight.
