Anvaya is everything is one of the best places I've gone to in Luzon. It's approximately 2.5 hours away, north of Manila, very nice roads and no traffic. When you reach Anvaya, it was awesome! Nice landscape, preserved rainforest, five star accommodations and facilities, very exclusive. Lordy is a host of a lot of units in Anvaya. Our check in was not too perfect because there was a switching of units by mistake so our check in time was delayed for about 45 min. We stayed in CP06 in bldg C instead C603 in bldg B (Tip: make sure that you call Lordy on your way to the place to ensure the exact unit number and to check that it's ready for your arrival. He also has on ground assistants who are waiting at the unit. It would be best if you get the number of the assigned person for better coordination. Another tip, ask Lordy which clubhouse you will be checking in because there are 2 clubhouses. It is frustrating when you wait in line only to find out that you will be checking in at the other clubhouse which is a driving distance away)
Despite the check in hassle, things turned out PERFECT. We got a better unit with the best view, very cozy, spacious! Lordy's team was also very helpful and courteous and with a beautiful place, there was no room for frustration!
There was enough towels but do bring your own bath essentials (shampoo, soap etc). Check out how many beds there are and how many can fit in. Then request blankets or comforters in advance, and also extra toilet paper.
If you didn't bring any drinks, you may request for a mini bar set up. The kitchen is well equipped with micro, toaster, rice cooker, utensils etc but since we were only going to stay overnight, it was best to just eat at the beach club-- either pawikan or kawayan resto. They serve good good which was surprisingly affordable-- 2600 for 7 pax!
Overall, it was a memorable experience-- perfect place, nice sunset, safe beach and huge pool, good food! I will definitely go back and even bring friends with me. Two thumbs up! Thank you Lordy and team at Anvaya!
