Geraldine's place is magical! 15 minutes outside of the charming Mexican town of Chemuyil, it is both rustic and elegant. Geraldine and her staff were consistently warm, friendly, and helpful. The breakfasts are beyond belief! And the rooms are elegant… well beyond what you would expect for the reasonable price. We felt welcome and very well-cared for. The location is wonderful for seeing all of the sites on that part of the coast: pyramids, ruins, cenotes, snorkeling beaches. It's possible to navigate without a car, as we did: the colectivos (small buses) and taxis are easy transportation. But if you want flexibility, you might want to rent a car. Enjoy this secret gem!

My friend sarah and i had a wonderful stay at Geraldine's airbnb. We stayed there for 3 nights and in the end we didnt want to leave this amazing place. We enjoyed the faboulous breakfast with fresh fruits and tasty marmelade. The whole property was really nice and clean. Also a cenote belonged to the property, this was very great. On the last evening we were preparing our meal and Geraldine came into the kitchen and offered us Some cups of wine. She and her housband were always amazing helpful and kind. We did't rent a car, so we appreciated the free use of bicycles Geraldine offers to get into the town. It's only 5 minutes by bike but by foot it's a quite long walk. In the town you have a supermarket where you can get important things, a few mexican restaurants and there is also a bus station where you can take a "collectivo" to Akumal, playa del Carmen or Tulum.

Hands down the most fantastic Airbnb experience! From the moment we arrived at Geraldine's stunning posada to the sad day we had to leave, everything was perfect. The breakfasts are delicious, the staff are so accommodating and friendly, the setting is peaceful and relaxed and the accommodation is so clean and comfortable. My sister and I had a wonderful holiday at Geraldine's and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, calm and beautiful holiday in Mexico, away from the busy cities. We felt very welcomed and one of the family!

This was my first Air BnB experience, and I know it will be hard to beat, if at all. Géraldine was an excellent host, to say the least. My husband and I arrived later in the evening and she eagerly welcomed us to our beautiful room and showed us around the gorgeous property. Her local staff are very lovely. I loved speaking Spanish to them and getting to know them. Every morning we had special breakfasts. I am dreaming of the local mango, guava, papaya juices, along with the cinnamon coffee!! The decor in our room was so beautiful, one day I dream of something like this of my own. The whole atmosphere is so relaxing that we spent a lot of time on the property itself. I want to return already. So in love with Géraldine, her staff, and the amazing grounds. XOXO ~Tamara

Geraldine is the best host I've ever met. Can't find good enough description how much I was happy there. I was supposed to stay three nights and end it up staying 7days so. FYI, you better have a car. : )

My wife and I just came back from "La Posada" and we are already missing it a lot! We spent 8 nights there and we felt ourselves like at home. Unfortunatelly we couldn´t meet Geraldine, as she was spending some time in France by the time we were in Mexico, but Gama, the property manager, took really good care of us. Dora and Neysi are wonderful people too, we always had very good conversations in the morning while ejoying the faboulous breakfast (we loved the "huevos a la mexicana"!!) the Posada is exactly as in the pictures, the room is spacious and the bed comfortable, we slept perfectly! We were also provided with beach towels, which is also a very nice detail to save some space in the luggage. I would love to stay again at La Posada, I hope we can come back very soon!
