Had a great stay at Daniel's apartment. The apartment is small, but laid-out very well with a living room easily turning into a large dining room, and the dining room can be turned into a terrace. The kitchen was well equipped, and the apartment still has two full baths. Whoever designed these apartments should’ve gotten an award: great job.
The building amenities rival 4-star hotels, with two swimming pools, the gym, a spa and a spacious and elegant social room. It’s located near two huge malls with lots of shops and all kinds of restaurants. It’s located in Brooklin, a modern and presumably safe neighborhood, which is quite some distance from the center of the city, but Uber works really well in SP, and there is a metro, of course.
Daniel was a gracious host, working with me until the WiFi issue was fixed and allowing us to stay a bit longer when our flight got delayed (I had to spend about 2 hours on the phone with the airline, and didn’t want my WiFi connection to drop upon leaving the apartment). Since we turned out to have a full day until our flight, we were able to store our luggage with the security and use the facilities for the reminder of the day.
Problems (just one)
One issue that potential guests need to take into account that's especially true for North American or European travelers is that a climatizer in the second bedroom doesn’t cool the room at all. That's the only reason for the four starts. On a really hot night, it can be a problem. Would recommend the owner to invest into a real portable AC that could be taken into the living room when needed to enjoy a movie or a game. Other than that, it’s hard to find any fault with this apartment. Highly recommended!
