Large quiet room situated at rear of house with views over the town. King size & day bed with tea/coffee, hairdryer & TV provided. Short walk to town and 20min walk to beaches. Afternoon cakes and pasties available on request.

No. 18 is an ideal location for you to stay explore Cornwall and the beautiful beaches in and around Falmouth.
I have two rooms, presented to a high standard.
One is a junior suite with en-suite. The other room is very comfortable with its own private bathroom.
Start your day with a choice for breakfast of either a full Cornish breakfast, locally sourced bacon, sausages, hogs pudding (Cornish delicacy) and eggs. Pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice and fruit salad.
I try to make your visit as comfortable and restful as possible. As standard are tea & coffee facilities are in the room, fluffy white towels, TV and hairdryer provided. I have beach towels for you too!
After a day exploring the area, help yourself to complementary cakes and cookies provided for you to enjoy in the comfort of your room. Packed lunches available upon request at an additional charge, or why not try my highly recommended home cooked Cornish pasty!
I live here with my beautiful Chocolate Labrador, Summer and we look forward to welcoming you.
You will have access to the dining room and your bedroom at all times. A small selection of cakes will be in the dining room for your convenience from mid afternoon onwards.
Interaction with guests
I live in the house so will be on hand most of the time. I will interact with you as much or as little as you desire. It's your holiday and I want you to enjoy it. I will be cooking and serving your breakfast each day though, so will be able to answer any queries you have about where to go for the day, hopefully I will be able to answer them!
Other things to note
On arrival I provide you with a map of the town. I have gained feedback of the better places to eat in the town over the past year, and willingly pass this on to you, if needed.
I don't like to have 'rules' as such but, I would expect you to respect my home and my hospitality.
I am afraid this is a no smoking house.
I like cooking, walking with the dog and travelling. I love going to the theatre, listening to music, and going to concerts.
I have started this year to do bed and breakfast in two rooms after a change of career. I am loving it and wish I had done it years ago! As I love cooking and trying to make sure all my guests have a relaxing stay, I do try to offer an excellent service. So far, all but one of my reviews demonstrate this. As one guest put it, my B&B is the perfect compromise between a normal B&B and hotel, I was extremely pleased to hear this, as it is what I have been trying to achieve.
I really do hope that I go from strength to strength and try to continually improve, using the feedback from guests to help me achieve this.
While you are booked in with me, you have a front door key and are welcome to come and go as you please, all my personal living doors are locked. As I dislike the UHT cartons, I keep a bottle of fresh milk and a bottle of water in a fridge for your use, you are welcome to keep things in there that you need to.
I believe my bedrooms are comfortable, clean and welcoming, the beds are so comfortable, all guests so far have confirmed this to me!
I use a local butcher and offer a full 'Cornish' breakfast, lots of guests have tried the hogs pudding, and love it, a Cornish delicacy!! If you don't like it, Summer (my Chocolate Labrador) loves it!!
I hope to be seeing you soon..........
