Fantastic home, fantastic host! The home was in a great location, we walked to the Arc de Triomphe in 20 minutes, and were only 5 to 10 minutes walk from the nearest metro stations. Thierry was an incredible host - he was in contact leading up to, during and following our stay to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. The home had everything we needed and more, right down to chocolates welcoming our arrival. Can't fault this home or Thierry at all, definitely book this home if you're thinking about it :)

A great experience. While the location may seem a touch off the beaten path, Paris is not London or New York--basically everything on the tourist trail is within a 25 minute metro ride. The neighborhood itself is great--Rue de Levi's is a great little shopping street full of wine and cheese stores, butchers, groceries, boutiques and restaurants. The Villiers metro stop is a ten minute walk and the area around there is full of cafes for just sitting and soaking in Paris. The apartment itself is roomy, comfortable and clean. Great outdoor terrace for enjoying some wine after a day on your feet. Thierry responded promptly to emails and had some great suggestions. All in all, heartily recommended.

The location of the house is excellent. Not in the city centre but very close to the Metro, which we found the best way to travel through Paris. The apartment was clean and the beds were clean and tidy. There are two bathrooms two toilets in the apartment, making it very suitable for larger family groups. The terras was a lovely place to gather and have a glass of wine at the end of the day. There are plenty of restaurants around and at least three good supermarkets on the doorstep. Also some good bistros en bars - even though most of those were closed during our stay - due to the holiday season. Thiery was quick in responding and somebody was waiting for us at arrival. All in all a great experience.

Apartment is spacious and airy with a wonderful private patio, and is close to stores and restaurants. The host responds promptly and had left a nice welcome gift. Not being from the area, local maps and info in the apartment would be helpful.

Thierry's place simply exceeded our expectations. I stayed with my family of 5 and we all got a great time there. The apt is spacious, clean, tidy, quite and beds are comfortable. It kept a very nice temperature even in the hot days of July. We had breakfast every morning in the terrasse, a luxury in Paris. The location is great, close enough to a metro station, the neighborhood is beautiful and lively with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. You have an authentic bakery and butcher outside the apt bulding. It perfectly suits families and small groups. Recomended 100%

Thierry and Sabine's home was lovely and exactly as described. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and the roof terrace a fabulous addition for al fresco breakfast with the family. Lovely neighbourhood close to lovely market and fresh food stores. Close to metro and large park and would recommend to all. Easy to find and great communication with our hosts.

Sabine and I got married since 21 years. We have 3 kids: one daughter aged 19th, very good pianist player, fascinated by the works of Chopin, and twin (one girl, one boy passionate about french bakery), aged 16th. They are all members of Children International Summer Village (CISV) and travel every year as well as they welcome kids home from any country in an exchange program.

Sabine works in the field of Marketing and Communication events and I manage a company owned by us, specialized in Cyber Defense & Security, Risk and Compliance consulting services. I travel throughout the year mainly in Asia.

Our family travels regularly. We love particularly New York where we split each time, some, including Sabine, for the MOMA, me for the MET, Washington to visit our friends in York and the National Gallery, and the American Art section of Philly museum of Art, Chiang Mai in Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Berlin, Vienna, Napoli, Roma, Martinique... Of course, every year, a part of winter time is reserved to ski in the Alps.

As a drummer, I love playing blues, rock, reggae, hardrock but I love to listen to Classical especially Mozart.

Sabine will enjoy reading many novels while I am truly passionate for History of France, notably through its kings, Emperors and wars.

As French family, we love fine french food as well as enjoying a true american hamburger in famous places in New York, or Thai northern style food.

Meeting people of any country, feeling cultural differences and taking some that feeds our needs for openness is a great thing for all members of our family.

We are a mix of different origins: French, English, Sicilian, French Caribbean, in one hand, Polish, Russian and French in the other hands.

We all speaks English to make sure we can always communicate.
