Great place right in the centre of Diocletian Palace, friendly host greeted us with a toast of sweet wine, figs and cold juice.

This place is a great central location in the heart of old town Split. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The sound really carries from the street, but we found that closing all the windows helps a lot. Our hosts were great with communication and helping us find the place. We arrived at night and the narrow streets can be confusing to navigate. Once we did find the place, we were offered a glass of sherry and figs to eat. It was vey sweet. Split is a really fascinating and lively city. We really enjoyed our time there.

The location was just perfect! You could not want for better! Mrs Slavka checked us in with some delightful homemade sherry which was just so sweet (both in taste and in gesture). We had such a pleasant stay here and Tamara was in touch regularly to make sure we enjoyed everything. Could not fault a single thing! Thanks!

Lovely apartment in the middle of everything! If you are in Split, you got to stay inside the Diocletian's Palace. And Tamara's apartment is exactly that. We just loved it here. The room was well thought, comfortable, nice kitchen. And to top it all - very close to the action.

The location is very central and convenient and it's fascinating to stay inside the walls of the old Roman palace. The apartment is generally clean and well presented. It was lovely to be greeted by sherry and smoked figs as other guests mentioned. During my two night stay, there was a very noisy bar downstairs until well after midnight. I'm not sure if this is common or just occurred while I was there, but it may be an issue for some guests.

Excellent location right in the centre of the old town adjacent to the main square. The studio is part of the old town and full of character. Nice and clean with everything you need. The dates on arrival to eat were a lovely touch. I would recommend staying here on location alone.

NOTE: You will notice I have many different listings under my name, but I am not a host for all of them. I am listing rooms and apartments for my friends and acquaintances who don't speak English well enough or can't use computers, and act as an intermediary and a contact person.

We are Tamara and Ani, daughter and mother.

Tamara is the one in charge of technical side (the listing, communication, payments and other arrangements) but Ani is going to be your hostess.

ANI (Host)
Ani is the one who is going to greet you when you arrive and give you any information you might need. Very friendly and chatty, she enjoys company of new people but respects their privacy and makes sure they feel comfortable at our place.

TAMARA (Guest)

I love meeting new people, learning from their experiences and soaking in their wisdom. When I hear about something new, I want to know more.

My granny would say for me: "You'd go anywhere, just so your ass can see some road" And that is so true! One of my dreams is to travel around the world!
