Amy and John are warm, adventurous and well-travelled people who love to tell people about the cultural, outdoorsy and unique things to do and see in Halifax and throughout Nova Scotia. Amy grew up in small-town NS and likely knows exactly how to find whatever cool little cafe, waterfall, beach, chowder, artist, band, antique shop, vegan restaurant, hike, etc you may be looking for - so feel free to ask for any tips!

John and Amy's place was perfect for us. The house was very clean and everything was provided. The house was very charming and the location was just right...easy access to various day trips and close to downtown. Our favorite day trip was driving along the South shore visiting Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. We had a wonderful week and would recommend John and Amy's house for anyone visiting Halifax and surrounding areas. Thank you both. Karen and Michael

Fantastic home is exactly as pretty as it looks, with an easy walk to so many great locations in the North end, as well as downtown. Nice and quiet neighborhood at night, with some 2am options still existing close by for those of a late night inclination. John & Amy were prompt in communication whenever we needed it and very hands off when we were doing our own thing. Would definitely go back anytime.

John & Amy's place is perfect! I have been looking for a flat for a month and they got a cancellation right before we were coming to Halifax. It was such luck! They were very accomodating in a last change in the amount of persons on the booking and made up the sofa bed last minute. The flat is beautifuly decorated and very clean, the bed is comfortable and the towels are extra fluffy. We were also greeted with some goodies in the fridge, fresh coffee, tea, etc. They also provides a lot of pamphlet and recommendation in Halifax. The kitchen is well stocked. They have clear instructions for the recycling, compost and garbage bins. One of our best experience on AirBnB. Looking forward to our next visit to North End! And we will definitely go back to Edna for dinner (a must!)

John and Amy were quick to respond to our last minute booking and were very helpful and welcoming. The house was very comforting , it really felt like a home away from home. At the end of of wandering the streets of Halifax, my daughter and I were always excited to get back to this comfy and quiet place. I highly recommend it to anyone staying in Halifax!

Amy and John were extremely helpful and communicative throughout the entire trip, and provided a wonderful welcome package of goodies for us. The apartment is beautiful and close to a wonderful street chock full of bakeries, breweries, and coffee shops. We could easily walk to the Citadel, and were close to other great locations. We absolutely loved or stay and would be happy to stay again on our next trip to the Maritimes.
