Creative writer who is passionate about gardening, preserving this astounding "hood", and her wonder dog. I have lived in Dunbar since 1998 and over the years remodelled my 1950's Bunglaow. I have had guests from as far as Saudi Arabia and as close to Calgary, AB. In my travels I was fortunate to meet and stay with Lily and Ricardo (Air BnB hosts) from Tlacolula, Oaxaca, Mexico. The experience was life changing as I lived with her and her family and learned the customs of the Zapotec. The Zapotec traditional food of Mole sauces, Chocolate, and Mescal were just some of my faves. Now that I have found Air BnB I hope to share Vancouver with you. As it happens both Lily and Ricardo are coming for a week. What goes around comes around. I am looking forward to seeing them again!
