Beautiful view, and place. Lovely walk to the actual place from the street but quite long. Could be a nice touch to have toiletries provided as well as more effective measures to deal with the bugs. But none the less we had a great time. Thanks :)

The place is very beautifull, and silent. The staff were great, and the breakfest amazing.

This villa is a little slice of heaven. It is located off the road only accessible by foot and is situated overlooking a rice Padi and jungle. It's quiet with the only noise coming from ducks and chickens. The bedroom is spacious and beautiful, the villa has everything you need. Our kids were staying at the Shala too so we loved having them over to chill out on the lounges or sit around the table. The Shal Bali is expertly run by Jero and her wonderful team. Liz was very efficient to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble. Included breakfast is delicious and you can order tasty food and drinks from the cafe. The grounds, pool and jungle backdrop are breath taking. This is our 4 th stay and there will be more, that probably says it all.

The bungalow was amazing!!in the middle of the rice fields,a 5 min walk from main road to the bungalow, but I loved this walk through the nature! The bathroom, kitchen and bedroom as well the terrace was beautiful! At night some noises from animals living in the fields (frogs,birds..) but enjoyed every moment there!

Elizabeth was very helpful and communicative! The staff were great-there was always someone on site to easily contact. The lounge area is great for watching thunderstorms and relaxing. The pool is very clean, and located right next to the café, where breakfast is prepared every morning and is open throughout the day.

This is an incredible place to stay, just outside of Ubud. What is so wonderful about it is a few things. It's beautifully isolated in a rice field, away from the bustle of main roads and villages. Because of that, you're surrounded by locals doing their work in the fields and they are very friendly and don't act intruded on --what a cool slice of life. It has an on site cafe with delicious, simple and healthy home-cooked foods. Your room has a kitchen if you prefer to do some cooking. What could be a con, although was definitely not for us, is that you are about 1 mile outside the hustle of Ubud. The reason why we didn't care is as simple as Ubud has a Starbucks and in more words is while it's really fun to walk around and experience, it's also a bit like tourist town. In the end we loved our night wandering up the local road here, which in itself is a 1/4 mile from the isolated Yoga compound that this is, and found some of the BEST FOOD IN BALI in the form of a roadside spot called NAUGHTY NURRIE'S WARUNG. As people who love food, that was a highlight. Overall, this is an awesome place to stay.

Shala Bali is such a lovely place. Our villa is beautifully designed and is in the middle of a rice paddy- perfect way to enjoy Ubud and its natural beauty! Liz, Jero, and all the staff are very friendly and made sure we had everything we need. It is also very near the city centre though you need to walk (with a nice view) a small bit from the road to the actual villa.
