After 8 weeks in Vietnam spent in bunk beds, I wanted to spend my last three nights in a private studio in the city center and next to the awesome Bui Vien street. Tram & Vy's studio was perfect for that. Clean, hot shower, a fan, A/C and good wifi. There's a midnight curfew, but Uncle "Oi" was always there to open the door for me at 3, 4 or 5 am. Vy always sent me good locations to grab some food or drinks nearby. The only thing that went wrong was that the A/C broke on my last day, but Vy was very responsive and found a solution within few minutes. If you're looking for a good studio in the city center with a great host, choose Vy. Thank you Vy for the stay. I'd definitely come back

I stayed here for a month while i was studying at ILA which is 2 seconds away and it was amazing! It is central to everything with plenty of food at your doorstep with some 24 hour cafes too! Ben Thanh market is relatively walkable to and Bui Vien was jist across the road. Uber was convenient everywhere and the host was the loveliest and most helpful girl ever! Very pleasant experience overall but the only thing to note would be the stairs you have to climb but the view and apartment is worth it.

We stayed in this room for one month while we were working as teachers, and would not recommend this place to anyone. There are many issues with this apartment. First of all, the power in this building is unreliable, which means the A/C, Wifi, and lights will turn off randomly and during "peak hours," according to the landlord. However, only this room seemed to be affected by the electricity issues, as the kitchen and other rooms had power when we did not. The Wifi, A/C, and shower were our main issues. The Wifi was very weak, and oftentimes did not work altogether. The A/C broke four times, and when repaired barely worked. The shower did not work for two days, which was unacceptable as we needed to be clean before going into work. Louis was very professional, and was ready to help. However, the apartment seems to need some major repairs, most important being the A/C and electricity. Also, the apartment is located on the sixth floor of the building with no elevator, which is not mentioned in the description. The coffee shop on the bottom floor allows people to smoke inside, which means their smoke goes to the top of the building like a chimney, and into the apartment. Overall, the apartment is in a decent location, but the many issues it has do not make it worthwhile to stay in until they are fixed.

This apartment had the basics down. It was very accessible and easy to enter. Though there was one issue with check-in because the host did not actually meet me at the apartment as stated and I had to rely on the assistance of someone at the cafe below. Otherwise, a pleasant stay and a simple but decent place to sleep for a couple nights in HCMC.

I'm really happy that I chose this place for my first week in Saigon! It's above a cafe which helps with the safety factor, and the people working there are super sweet. Plus, the coffee is good! My room was on the top floor and on the back side of the building so it was super quiet, and I slept great. The room itself has some French charm. I really appreciated the fresh flowers, and the large throw rug is a great touch. I really liked the sunny shared kitchen, which I had to myself most of the time because most tourists eat out every meal. Louis was super helpful, always responded right away if I needed something, and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions (even though I probably was)! He even carried my heavy suitcase up and down the stairs, helped arrange a taxi to the airport, and agreed to hang on to the toaster oven I bought for when return to Saigon next month. He even took me to his favorite little sushi place near the room after my arrival, showed me how to cross the street (this takes some skill in Saigon:), and told me where a good ban mi place is right on the corner. Definitely a great choice if you want to be close to the action but need a quiet space to sleep.
