The accommodations were better than advertised. There is a very sweet dog and overall it's a nice place to rest your head.

If you want a simple place to stay that's a doable walk or cheap Uber from the French quarter I recommend Justin's place. Its a true New Orleans home and the room has an AC unit that keeps it plenty chilly. It's clean and Justin leaves simple cutlery and amenities for the guests. We didn't see him much save check in. But even that short interaction was enough to tell that he was a chill guy. Would stay again.

Justin was very accommodating to our needs. His home was clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the record player and variety of records he provided for his guests. His dog was very sweet. Price was very fair. Thank you!

Justin was a very accomodating, yet nonobtrusive host. He was very considerate, even sharing a meal with us and allowing us to leave our bags at his place before our flight (which was well past our checkout time). Though I wouldn't recommend visiting New Orleans in the summer, Justin is a very nice person to stay with if you do!

If you like historic homes (including all their foibles), this is a fun place. The neighborhood has many architecturally interesting homes...that are for "real people" rather than mansions. Justin's dog is a delight. The location is a quick Uber ride to the FrenchQuarter.

Justin's place was perfect for a short stay. The room was clean and there was microwave and a fridge in there. There was also an AC available which was great as it was really hot. The neighborhood was really quiet and we had no issues when walking back to Justin's late at night from French Quarter.

Justin was a great host and the room was super great. It was fully equipped with a mini fridge ,microwave, and eating utensils. He even had snackssss!!!lol Which came in handy after our long drive there. Overall a generous host with one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met. Definitely recommend

I have spent time in Japan, Korea and Russia and I have traveled to other places around the world. I can speak Russian, Japanese and a little Spanish. I can make the best grilled chicken in the city and I have a specialty which I can surprise you with if you are curious. If you have come to New Orleans chances are you have an adventurous side when it comes to food! I am also a JFK conspiracy buff and I have a bike tour related to that. I have a BA in history and a JD which I never intend to use. Thanks for looking at my listing!
