Clean up after yourself. We are your hosts, not your maids!

This is a shared space. Be respectful and do your best to use common sense.

Dont be afraid to speak up if someone demonstrates a lack of common sense.

Do not talk in the room if someone is sleeping or trying to sleep. You can use this as an excuse to send that early morning call from the boss to vm! Or goto the living room, kitchen or outside to tell bossman you got too drunk and overslept (See rule #2)

Dont be an ogre and go around slamming doors like your mom on saturday morning when you are trying to sleep in!

Speaking of moms, we aren't yours, so cook your own food and wash your dishes. (This is very closely related to rule#1!)

Have fun, no need to hold back and be shy. The other guests probably wont bite you.

Don't be a bonehead and put trash upon trash in a full garbage can!

Help keep the place tidy. For example if you are helping to build the leaning trash tower of piazza, aka the full garbage can mentioned earlier, stop the construction by taking the garbage bag out. You can even be lazy and set it outside. Someone, and that can be you, will take it out on their way down the back stairs.

Dont be afraid to ask anyone where things are, like new garbage bags,

Act like a soldier and leave no hair behind in the bathroom. It's a hair free battlezone!

Last but most definitely not least, dont forget the door code. Even though ESPD jail cells are nice, you don't want to spend your night there for getting caught climbing through the window. (Yes, it has happened.)

Diana and Jason's place was great. Clean, quiet and friendly. Good value too. Perfect if you need to stay close to the airport. I stayed the night before a Trek America trip as the hotel it started at was around the corner but quite expensive. This was a much better option.

I had a layover for one night near LAX and Diana & Jason's place was perfect. It's very easy to get to from the airport (10-15min drive). I came in late around 10pm and Diana was still awake to greet me. I felt right at home immediately. It's been a few years since my last hostel experience and I must say I missed it after my one night stay here. I want to stay for longer next time I visit!

We are fun-loving travelers who love the ocean, outdoors and nature. The perfect day for us is getting out, going on a hike, a surf, bird watching (yes, birdwatching, they are so hilarious), coming home, firing up the grill, cracking a few beers and laughing over great food and …
