Great location and excellent hosts! We came to Montreal for a quick 4 day stay to pretty much eat and see attractions in between. Montreal has a great food scene, excellent night life and so many attractions. Sarah & Elodies location is perfect to see everything. We lucked out with summer like weather during our stay and aside from a couple of Uber's we were able to walk everywhere! The room had recommended restaurant, sights etc painted onto the wall in a very fun creative way along with a thorough house guide we felt pretty taken care of! We recommend this place to anyone coming to enjoy the food, night life and who want to be in the heart of it all but not downtown.

Sarah is a great host, and the apartment is super comfy with a great location by main roads. Be aware that there is a bit of street noise at night, but nothing truly excessive.

The listing is inaccurate, as it was listed with "free parking on the premises" in the amenities when in reality, the "free parking" is on the street. However, Montreal's parking system is very confusing and I would not recommend trying to navigate it. Sarah sent us a parking PDF, but it was only useful as a translation manual. We never once met Sarah, and we conveyed to her that we would have no cell service during our stay and she failed to answer her phone when we were able to call and required her assistance parking our car. I would not recommend this location if you have a car; we ended up with a parking ticket from our confusion and had to drive a ways and spend more money to park at a overnight garage. Sarah was also not the friendliest and was not all that invested in providing her guests with a great experience. Aside from that, it's a great location in the city, the room and house was clean, and she provided bagels for breakfast.

Response from Sarah:
Hi Julia, I'm very sorry for your experience but you were fully aware of the parking situation a week before. The document that you received is not only the translation (it is only the first page), but explanation of how it works. As I told you, I would had been more than happy to assist you for the street parking or even park your car if you would have shown up during the almost 3-hr window I gave you for check-in. As for your future Airbnb bookings, I would recommend to be a minimum reachable. I've indeed received a call around 9pm on a Thursday and unfortunately i was not available (I was driving). You didn't leave a voice message and I was enable to call you back because the caller was "unknown". Maybe for this time, it would have been better to book an hotel where you can get the assistance you needed and a conciergerie to help you out. I'm glad you enjoyed Montreal!

Excellent room near a lot of great things in Montreal. Hosts were great and the entire apartment was very clean. Would recommend to others who don't mind the sounds of a fun and main street outside the window (which on a summer night must stay open).

Response from Sarah:
Thanks George for your comment and sharing your experience :) It is true Mont-Royal avenue is pretty noisy during summer! That's why we provide ear-plugs :D

Sarah is a fantastic host, and her place was perfect! She offered so many amazing suggestions for fun things to do around the area, and made sure that we felt welcomed and comfortable. She was always available for communication and did everything to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The neighbourhood is cute and quirky, and a great location for exploring the city (close to the subway as well). Would encourage others to stay at this great place!
