Interaction with guests
We love our city of Portland and enjoy turning visitors on to its charm and cultural vibrancy. We are happy to be a resource for what to do, where to eat in 'America's Foodiest Small City' (Bon Appetit Magazine), find live music venues (Check copy of The Portland Phoenix in apartment for live music shows), yoga classes, best beaches, where to bike, hike, surf, best breweries, nicest parks, best place to buy local produce, fish and lobsters, most interesting galleries and museums, best views, which islands to visit in Casco Bay, outdoor concerts (25 this summer), favorite takeout and food trucks, etc, etc.
Other things to note
Although there is not a laundry facility on site there is a conveniently located laundromat, called the Soap Bubble, just around the corner on the corner of Pine Street and Clark.
This is a smoke free building.
Kris and Cindy love their city of Portland and are happy guiding their guests in discovering the cities charm and cultural vibrancy. When time allows for travel Cindy and Kris have enjoyed exploring the landscapes, jungles, beaches and cultures of Costa Rica. Maui, Mexico, the Virgin Islands, and Italy, to name a few favorites; as well as hiking, biking and camping on Maine's coast and mountains. Cindy also likes to spend her time practicing and teaching yoga and painting. Kris loves cycling, promoting music occasionally and being an activist for sustainable cities.
