Beautiful new studio apartment in Palermo Hollywood! 9 year old building with rooftop terrace and jacuzzi, the flat is 25 sq metres, fully equipped kitchen, high speed WIFI, CABLE TV comfy sommier bed bed that fits two and powerful shower !

The space

Modern new studio apartment, in the center of Palermo Hollywood, ideal for two or one people. New bed and furniture as of September 2017. It is surrounded with restaurants, bars and shops, very easy access to getting around Buenos Aires since it´s 5 blocks to the subway and main bus stops.
The building has a beautiful rooftop terrace with jacuzzi and the coolest breeze to enjoy Buenos Aires´ beautiful nightlights. Also on the last floor there´s a laundry room and drying room.

This is my flat where I lived for a short time after I bought it. It is 25 sq metres, equipped and decorated it for myself with a lot of love and quality products. I am offering it to people who want the full BA experience, due to its priviledged location.

The flat is in the very centre of Palermo Holywood, among bars, restaurants and shops so you have a lot of walking distance entertainment. Since it´s so lively there´s always people on the streets so it´s very safe. Nevertheless, the flat is really quiet because it faces away from the street.

To city atractions:
Subway D line Palermo Station is 5 blocks away.
Buses all on Santa Fe Av. is 5 blocks away
To Tigre:
Belgrano C train station: 15 min walk, or you can take the 59 bus to the station on Santa Fe Av.

My stay at Victoria's place in Palermo was the best Airbnb experience I have had up to this moment. Victoria is a very kind and generous host who will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. She even went out of her way to bring me a desk lamp that I can use to write (not that the lighting is in any way bad)-- something she definitely was not required to do. Was available to help with any question I had, from finding the best pizza to other recommendations in the city. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the apartment overall had a very cozy feel to it. It is located in a very hip, trendy and modern area of Palermo, full of culture and things to do and experience. Is close to the beautiful bosques of Palermo, the subway, theaters, special cafés, restaurants and more. If you are trying to decide where to stay... stay here:)

Pros: - It's conveniently located next to Fitz Roy st and main transportation lines - Cafes across the street for a quick morning stop - Rooftop and jacuzzi (although we didn't use the jacuzzi because of the weather) Cons: - Felt very small for the two of us who spent a week in the apartment - Tiny shower and bathroom - Being 6 feet tall, the bed was too short - Very old TV with a really uncomfortable single-person couch - The kitchen stove was very small and made it hard to cook

Response from Victoria:
Hi Omar, sorry you found the flat so disapointing. When I started in airbnb there used to be a slot to input the square meters but I guess they must have eliminated this. I will clarify it in the description for future guests. I am surprised that even after I gave you a discount (because you wanted to cancel when you realized you misread the rules and had to pay an extra for sunday check in) and you left the wastebasket full of dirty toilet paper you still feel you didn´t get your money´s worth.

If I hadn't had a negative interaction with the host, I would have given this listing 3 stars. It's very small, and the bed is very uncomfortable but a good location encourages you not to spend much time there and is mostly enjoyable. However, one of our evenings there, there was a short circuit in the apartment. The circuit wouldn't turn back on and an electrician needed to be called because the maintenance man was on vacation. Everything that was plugged in belonged to the apartment, except for our MacBook charger (from Canada) which we adapted to the Argentinian outlet with an adapter from the apartment. She had an electrician come and fix it the same day and I thought she was a very good host. However, once we checked out I received a request to pay for the electrician. She claimed that my charger must have caused the short circuit because she uses her adapter for her own computer. However I explained to her that we plugged in our computer with our own adapter in the same outlet with no short circuit. In cases like these, where the guest has no control of the state of the electricity, the burden of maintenance should rest with the owner of the property. But even settling this would not bother me much, Airbnb has not deemed me responsible in the dispute. It was her aggressive insistence that I pay for her maintenance. My calm arguments were met with "who are you to tell me how to run my rental" and saying that because we only stayed 3 nights it was unfair that she had to deal with a maintenance issue. However, the reality is if you own a home, something needs to get fixed eventually. It seems greedy to make people who are paying you to stay in your property pay for maintenance issues. Long-winded but I felt I should share. If something goes wrong in the apartment be prepared for a battle.

Vicky's apartment is comfy and located perfectly. It's a really nice neighborhood and we had a very pleasant stay. Vicky was also always available when I had questions about the city and the apartment.

The apartment is small, but is well located and has all the essentials. There is construction immediately next door though which starts at 7:30am each morning, so not the right place if you want a sleep in! Be aware that Victoria will ask you to sign a short term lease when you arrive. This is not stated in the apartment rules and description and I was only given 24 hours notice by email of this requirement. I was also quite upset to be asked by Victoria to pay a damage fee at the end of my stay for a saucepan she claimed was burnt (18 euro - almost half the rate for one night's stay!). I hadn't used the saucepan, and had actually gone to a lot of effort to leave the apartment very clean (including doing all the dishes before I left!) Having to deal with this once I returned home was really disappointing after a lovely stay in Buenos Aires.
