We had a lovely stay here. The room and B&B was fantastic, and our hosts were full of tips and friendly advice. Robert was even kind enough to give us a lift to St Andrews! Much recommended.

Robert and his lovely wife made us feel very welcome. The room, house and all the facilities are really fantastic. Pristine, you really couldn't wish for more. As hosts they are extremely helpful and friendly. I am sure we will return again. Anstruther is just lovely. Highly recommended to all you won't be disappointed.

We loved our stay at Brackness House in Anstruther. Robert and Catriona were gracious and welcoming hosts. The neighborhood is lovely and conveniently located for using the public bus service. Our room was as described and very comfortable. Had we not been going back and forth to The Open in St. Andrews, I'm sure we would have spent time in the beautiful backyard and detached game room. Robert cooked us a wonderful breakfast each morning. They have three rooms available. This would be a great place for three couples to stay since there is a sitting room and the garden to get together in. This was our first bed and breakfast experience. The bar has been set very high! We would definitely go back!

I had a wonderful time staying here. Robert & Catriona were lovely hosts and made me feel welcome the moment I entered their amazing home. The attention to detail from the cut flowers to the cooked breakfasts made this feel like a magical stay. The room was perfect and the 'rain head' shower was just the best! The house is situated perfectly for a stay, with the harbour being just a short walk away. I will be telling everyone I know who's travelling up to Fife to check out this B&B because really, it feels more than a B&B - it feels like a home from home, with a little luxury thrown in! Perfect.

We were looking for something special to spend our first wedding anniversary and so we decided to stay at Robert & Catrina's B&B. We were made to feel most welcome in their home and thought they were really the perfect hosts. The accomodation was of a very high standard recently being fully renovated and is exactly as described. Its a beautiful part of the world with lots of nice walks and the famous chippy nearby. We highly recommend this B&B and look forward to returning in the near future. To summarise, first class hospitality!!! Tom & Fiona Mclellan

Robert and Catriona went above and beyond for us to feel welcome in their B&B, which is also their renovated and expanded home. Communications were easy before arrival and it was lovely arriving to a cup of tea after a tour through the B&B and the - very spacious! - garden. Robert made a great effort every morning preparing breakfast, making it just to inviting to stay in for leisurely mornings! The B&B is situated very close to Anstruther harbour, which was ideal for our purpose of visit. Robert also made a great effort advising us on where to go for the best wining & dining. His and Catriona's enthusiasm about the Neuk of Fife was contagious! We'll be back!

I am married to Catriona and we have 2 children, Rachel & Gregor both of whom are at university in Aberdeen. As a family we love to travel and have been very lucky to visit different places all around the world. Favourites being St.Petersburg, Cape Town, Venice, Dubai & New York. Other holiday destination favourites include Riviera Maya, Mexico and Florida, USA , where we have family in Miami. But we all agree that our ultimate favourite is taking our tent and camping around Scotland. My interests are wide and varied and I love everything from live musical theatre, to a game of football, or a round of golf. I am a very friendly and sociable person and both myself and Catriona look forward to showing you good old Scottish hospitality!
