Really lovely and romantic place. Lots of light. Close to the beach. Great, clean bathroom. Comfy bed.

We stayed for 9 days here. Bad parts were: - My girlfriend got more than 50 mosquito bites on the first day and we got lots of insects in the house because it is an open house. - Unfortunately some of my cloths were stolen when we were out (not money) even though we locked the door. Maybe we were just bad luck but we didn't expect like this in Boracay. - Electricity got black out daily which was annoyed. They said having black out is normal in Boracay but our case was worse. - They only offer breakfast on the main season so we didn't get any. Positives: - we liked the location and neighbors were also friendly and helpful. - Norlan was helpful and alway cared about us. - There is a good Italian restaurant around the corner. Worth trying. - Trycycle to Dmall and Puka beach was 150 pesos, 100 pesos by bike taxi.

No air conditioner was hard on the body, but the place is really charming and calm.

This place was amazing! The owner was here waiting for me when I arrived with drinks and a cool towel. He is super cool and so is the girl Caren that over sees the place. Norlan also helps out and is super friendly, available 24-7 and always polite! The house is amazing, everything from the decorations to the location. The place has a kitchen I used everyday, nice size Tv with cable so I had news and movies and a fat couch to lounge around on, As well as a king size mattress that was very comfortable. Five minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk up to the new mall with the only real supermarket on the island. Location was perfect. One unfortunate event happened while I was here. Some girls In The flat below got broken into and had some cash stolen. It was unfortunate but the owner paid them back and the next day put metal bars on the windows, extra locks and hired a full time security guard to watch the residents. The girls wouldn't have lost Anything if they used the security box that is supplied with the room. It was an unfortunate incident but management was on top of it immediately. They even came to my place and added all these extra locks on the windows just to be safe. I had a great time here and made new friends staying in the other flats. I couldn't believe how reasonable the cost of this place was either, UNBELIEVABLE! This is my first time using Airbnb but if all the locations they offer are half as good as this one, I won't need to look anywhere else.

Staying at Puka for four days was the best part of this trip, having been to Boracay quite a number of times since 1998. It was my first time to book in the Diniwid area and after staying at William's place, I wish I'd gone before. The studio is just as lovely as most have described in prior reviews. It gives you the most laid back, relaxing vibe - which you will welcome after a tiring day of exploring the island. It's nestled among the trees and you'll faintly hear birds all day, leaves from the trees rustle with the wind -nature at its best. The glass sliding windows opens fully, letting you experience real island-living. In the mornings, your room will be filled natural light so lovely that it won't be easy getting out of bed. Half the time I was torn between going around the island or staying in just to enjoy the place. I'd recommend this to those who are looking for a more subdued (not action packed 24/7) island getaway. There is a steep 100m walk from the road up to the studio - which I considered my workout after spending the day lounging around the beach doing nothing but eat, drink and swim (a little). Have a flashlight handy, that short walk can get dark at night. Other than that, it's the little things that made this stay memorable - the fridge with fresh eggs, beer, and bottled water. That yummy fruit tea, the mangoes, the well-equipped kitchen. Hats off to William, him along with George and Rachel were great hosts - very responsive and accommodating.

Very nice location although I expected it to be more isolated. Beware of bug bites, it's a problem all over the island.
