Room #2 in 478 Roncesvalles is a small, comfortable room with all the amenities of a BNB or hotel. It is directly in front of the King streetcar stop and less than 5 minutes away from the College, Dundas and Queen streetcars as well as the Subway. DREAM LOCATION! In one of the best neighbourhoods in the city, you will be taken care of whether inside the apartment or out. Book now before its too late!

The space

Room #2 is in a third story apartment, on Roncesvalles Ave, one of the most unique and coveted strips in Toronto. It has everything a traveller needs to feel comfortable including High Speed WIFI, Apple TV, espresso machine, multiple common spaces, instant access to 24 hour public transit, and much more. The apartment is very large, with tonnes of room to realx, get some work done or make a nice dinner for yourself or friends.

Guest access

Guests will have access to their private room, complete with a comfortable bed, tv, toiletries as well as a couple little gifts to make your stay just right. Guests will also have access to the entire rest of the apartment, including a renovated kitchen and bathroom, two common living room areas and a small workshop are. The apartment is full of books, plants, art and interesting Toronto artifacts, all of which are here to make the guest have a more memorable stay in Toronto.

Interaction with guests

I am always available to help guests with any questions or concerns they have. I am around almost all the time and I have my phone on me constantly, so I am on ly ever one call or text away. Tell me if you need restaurant recommendations or reservations, I've been known to pull a couple strings, or if you are looking for something to do in Toronto that isn't on every "5 best things to do in Toronto" list. Part of your experience here is having me as a resource to make your stay better, so make sure to use it!

Other things to note

With one bed, the room comfortably accommodates 2 people. Let me know if you have any special requests or questions prior to your arrival and I will try my hardest to take care of whatever you need before you get here.

This room can get a bit hot and stuffy in the summer, although I have fans and A/C units in the apartment, if you are sensitive to the heat it might not be the room for you. Because the apartment is on the third floor of a storefront, there are two flights of stairs leading up to the apartment. If you are unable to climb stairs regularly, this listing might not be suitable. I do not have a microwave in the apartment, so if you plan on using one and do not want to instead use the stove this apartment might not suit you.

Great value for money offer and everything is in-line with expectations described. Everything was very clean, accurate and with very high level of privacy provided. Especially recommend staying there for those who travel alone and search for a balance between location, coziness and price.

I love the location of this place. Convenient and easily accessible. There is 1 bus stop literally just right in front and the subway is a few minutes walk away. There is also a nice cafe just literally downstairs and other many interesting shops to explore along the streets at leisure, if you have the time. If you need to wash your laundry, it's just across the street. The only advise I would like to give is not to have too big luggage as there is no lift up and down the 3 levels of stairs. Elliot is fast to respond to any questions, and he readily agreed to help with carrying my 2 heavy luggage down the stairs. Really appreciate that.

Elliot's place was great, and in an amazing area of Toronto. There is quite a steep staircase into the apartment, but once you're inside its very spacious and clean. There is also a great coffee shop directly underneath the apartment for your morning coffee.

Hello!

My name is Elliot, I'm a born and bred Roncesvalles native, who has lived here all my life. That means I know all the good spots! I also have a background in luxury hotels, making it easy for me to ensure my guests have great stays. I work as a freelance Production Designer for film and TV. I love to travel, and lived in France for a year before returning to Toronto and becoming an Airbnb host. I have about 500 positive reviews by now so its easy to see that you'll be taken good care of if you choose to stay with me!

I love nothing more than to give people good recommendation, Toronto has tonnes of great restaurants to try, but also understand if people want a but more of a private experience. Just let me know what your travelling style is and I'll accommodate as best I can!

Looking forward to hosting you!
