We are not professional hosts and we receive people inside our home to have the opportunity of meeting and interacting with people from all over the world and broadening our minds.
It's up to you to decide how much interaction to have with us. We will respect your privacy.
Please, don't smoke inside the house.
Please don't feed our dog and our cats.
If you have pet allergies, keep in mind that we have a dog that lives inside and some cats mostly living outside.
Water and energy are precious: use them but don't waste them.
If you need or want to use the kitchen, please ask us. It is free for spot uses; there is a small amount for a frequent one.
We both work so we ask to follow the check-in and check-out rules:
check-in: not before 6,30 pm;
check-out: not after 9,30.
If you need a different time, tell us and we will try to find a solution.
Your ID card or passport will be requested for security registration.
The Tourist Tax (actually 1,00€ a day a person) is included in the rate.
For a single night reservation an extra charge of 10 euros is requested for the room cleaning.
You'll be sharing the home with us, an Italian family with two teenagers, a friendly yellow Labrador named Margot, and several farm cats that mostly live outside. Patrizia is a jewelry maker with a shop in San Gimignano, and Paolo is owner of an ad agency in Firenze. Our daughter Premal plays cello in the youth orchestra in Siena, and our son Manu is a whiz with motorbikes. We all speak English.
