This is the logo I always say for my creatively charming space..
It is a cute and calming place for your days of exploring the Athenian city!
Don't miss it, It would be my pleasure hosting you!

The space

Are you interested in visiting the magnificent town of Athens?
Are you thinking about exploring the Athenian society through the eyes of it's local population?
Then you made the right choice!
A sweet individualistic and comfortable apartment is waiting for you to have a unique experience.
The whole apartment is available to you for as many days as you wish, while in the meantime I will make sure that my help, my suggestions and my advice will keep you company during your stay.
I am looking forward to serving you and answering any questions you might have, in order for you to enjoy and explore the Greek capital the way it deserves it.

A 1st floor studio of 33 square meters is exclusively available to you throughout your stay in Athens…
comfortable, clean, tidy, creative, uniquely atmospheric and with the Greek sun and breeze coming through your windows.
The apartment includes: 1 bedroom, hallway, bathroom and a separate equipped kitchen (fridge, stove, cooking pans, glasses, plates, forks, knives etc.)

The apartment also includes:
- hot water
- clean sheets and towels
- Wi-Fi internet connection
- Air-conditioning
- 1 double-bed

The apartment is located just 3km away from the city center and specifically the central square; Syntagma Square.
Also, beautiful bistros and cafes can be found in this quiet neighborhood, along with easy access to any public transportation (metro, buses etc.).

One thing I should notice, is that very close to the building there is a franchise of one of the biggest super market chains (AB) in Athens, which is very useful as well.

For more information concerning the exact location and the distances between the apartment, the monuments and the entertainment spots, you can check out the photographic plan.

The apartment is 5 minutes (walking distance) away from the ‘Ampelokipi’ metro station.

For those of you who are planning to rent a car, you should know that finding a parking spot nearby is not very common due to the fact that the apartment is central, but it's also not impossible.

Finally, concerning the transportation:
- To/from the Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”. After your arrival, use the metro (blue line), heading towards to “Agia Marina” and stop at "Ampelokipi" metro station. It is 12 stops to “Ampelokipi” station. You will need at least 45 minutes, while the cost will be 8 euros per person.

Another option is the bus. It takes 1 hour and it will cost you 2,5 euros per person. Bus X95 heading to Syntagma Square. Stop at "Ampelokipon Square" .

Otherwise, if you use the taxi you will need at least 30 minutes, while the cost will be around 40-50 euros.

- Piraeus Port: From Piraeus Port use the suburban railway towards "Kifisia" and stop at "Monastiraki" station. "Monastiraki" is a connecting station for suburban railway and metro. Follow the stairs and use the metro (blue line) towards "Airport". Stop (after 4 stations) at "Ampelokipi" metro station.
It will cost you 1,40 euros per person, while it will take at least 35 minutes.

If you take a taxi it will take around 15-20 minutes to the apartment with a cost of 20-30 euros.

I really hope that the apartment, the facilities and my hospitality meet your expectations and cover your needs during your stay in Athens. My purpose is to meet all kinds of different people and be able to conduce to the creation of a pleasant feeling for your trip to Athens.
For additional information or question you might have, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Thank you in advance,
Vasia E.

The house is just perfect for two, it's very close to the metro (5 minutes by feet), and the host was very nice and she resolved every problems we had. Thank you Vasia!

The area was a quiet neighborhood, very close to the metro station, with the Saturday market not far. It was Vasia's father who took me to the house, and he was very kind and helpful.

My girlfriend and I didn't actually meet Vasia, but her dad took good care of us. It was our first time in Greece so we had a little trouble finding her place, so I text her dad, and even though we eventually found our way, he met us half-way and helped us with our bags. The apartment was very clean and cozy, though we spent most of our time outside and only slept there, really. We had an iron, blow-dryer, clean sheets and towels and all appliances in the kitchen as well. The apartment was located about 5 blocks away from the nearest train station and a block away from a grocery store and a bakery for morning coffee and awesome pastries (the chocolate croissant was really good). We were also a few stops from Acropolis and the Parthenon if you are into historical sites. The view from the top is amazing and you should definitely go if you make it to Athens.

The studio is very simple, it has a small kitchen which is cool and a very small bathroom. The mattress felt old and it was uncomfortable also the sheets had a lot of hair on them. Bad washing machine or just dirty? I don´t know. It is a bit noisy, I´d recommend having a pair of ear-plugs, just in case. I didn't meet with Vasia, as she was away, there was a man that let me in, and I had to wait for 20-25 minutes for the floors to dry...

I didn't get the chance to meet with Vasia during my stay but was welcomed, after a short walk looking for the room by her extremely friendly and gracious dad who was kind enough to allow me in, show me the room, provide maps, emergency numbers, Wi-Fi (very strong) passwords and so on. The room itself is perfect and in a great location. its a 10 minute walk from the Ambelokipi metro stop with cafe's and a supermarket just outside the room. You can be assured of your privacy too, which I very much appreciated. Its also very clean, very comfortable, very safe and absolutely everything you would need for a stay in this beautiful city. It really is like a hotel room, only bigger! My stay in Athens was made all the more better by the accommodation and very friendly & welcoming locals. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. I thank you again, Vasia and when im back, hopefully soon, look forward to staying here again. All the best to you and your family.
