The traditional riad was restored in 15 years ago. It is located in a historic area of the Medina, five minutes walk from the souks, the Medersa Ben Youssef and the Museum of Marrakech.

The Riad is spacious. It features a large tree-lined patio and a central fountain.
The patio and living room on the ground floor have several living spaces for our guests.
Two terraces are available for our guests. The first one is equipped with a tent of rest, very pleasant at the end of the day. The second equipped with sunbathing, enjoys a panoramic view on the Medina and the mountains of the High Atlas.

JACUZZI on the terrace available to our guests!

We are present at the arrival of our guests to offer them a mint tea and Moroccan cupcakes.
We take advantage of this moment to get to know each other.
We accompany our guests to their room. A bottle of mineral water is offered.
We then take the time to offer them a detailed plan of the Medina that we explain to them.
We are pleased to give all our good addresses and give a few tips that make the stay of our guests easier.
Finally, we always accompany our guests to the Jemma El Fnaa Square and point out all the landmarks for them to find their way easily.

The area is particularly attractive:
Five minutes from the Riad: Medersa Ben Youssef, Museum of Marrakech, House of photography, souks ...
15 minutes walk from Jemma El Fna Square

Taxis three minutes walk from the Riad.

RESTAURATION:

Hearty breakfasts are available from 08:30 to 11:00. (Hot drinks, bread, butter, homemade jams, honey, different pancakes, orange juice, eggs, homemade yogurt)
Price: 5 Euros per person.

Dinners or lunches can be ordered in the morning (starter, main course and dessert)
Lunch: 15 Euros per person.

Wonderful stay. Gives a different feel of the medina from the typical spot just off of the Jemaa El Fna square (still not too far). This is a guest house and traditional style Riad, not a boutique hotel.

What a wonderful couple. They went above and beyond. Vincent even planned the rest of our trip through Morocco which so far has been brilliant He even arranged for the driver. Very highly recommended to any one that wants to stay in Marrakech and explore.

This riad is super beautiful and perfectly located! Vincent was super kind and arranged airport pickup and personally walked us to the raid to then offer us hot tea as a welcome. The hospitality really was so warm. Vincent even escorted us around and guided us on how to get to the main square as well as to an ATM :) We arranged to have dinner the first night and wow, it was super delicious and the perfect first Moroccan meal :) overall amazing location and beautiful place. My boyfriend and I enjoyed laying on the roof deck listening to the sounds of the city. Would definitely recommend!

Riad Dar Tayib is situated in a convenient location. Check in is a breeze. Vincent met us at a pick up point and guided us into the riad. The riad is very beautiful, and the view from the rooftop terrace is lovely. We had a great dinner and breakfast there as well. Overall had a grand time, and cannot wait to be back!

We loved everything about this riad. The location, the room, the patio, the hosts, the courtyard... It was even better than the pictures. It's also in a great location, but the Medina is an absolute maze, so I'd definitely recommend paying for drop off at the riad (he'll offer it once you book). Vincent also has great suggestions of things to see/do in the area, and we really enjoyed everything he recommended. I told Vincent it was my birthday the day we were arriving, and he offered to put together a special dinner with entertainment (for a reasonable fee). I have traveled a fair amount (30 countries to date), and I've had some pretty amazing experiences, but what he put together for my birthday was truly one of my best travel experiences and helped to make this one of my best Airbnb stays to date. I was simply blown away. Thank you, Vincent, for your hospitality!

Vincent and Latifa are simply amazing people and as hosts. Vincent coordinated Taxi pick-up at the airport when I arrived for $20, walked out and met the Taxi driver and helped me with my bags. They then sat down with mint tea and delicious pastries and chatted with me about my pink guest house on Airbnb in Boise, Idaho and what I wanted to do while in Marrakesh. Another guest sat down with us and we ended up hanging out the next couple days! Latifa and her lovely niece walked with us to the main square in the Madina teaching us what to look for so we would know the way. I got lost one day - but HEY! - it's fun to get lost in the Medina and find your way through eventually :) All people are so friendly and I felt safe. Their Riad is simply lovely with the open air, little bistro sets, huge plants, birds, water fountain and their precious fluffy dog. The multi-levels and roof top (with cool "hot" tub) and lounge chairs are so inviting. I enjoyed doing my morning yoga on the roof top in the mornings. My room was very comfortable with a super open shower. Most of all I enjoyed connecting with the other travelers! I TOTALLY recommend 3 days/2 nights in the Sahara! Vincent can help you schedule this if you ask. Make sure you negotiate. Most of us on this trip paid the equivalent of $60 - $75 US. The Riad also offers wonderful, tasty meals. Although more expensive than eating in the restaurants, it can be well worth it if you are arriving later in the day and tired from travel. Vincent also walked me out to taxi's 2 different times - once REALLY early in the morning so I could head out to the desert. Stay at this welcoming Riad. You will be so glad you did!!!
