Our newly built backyard cottage is the perfect, private in city dwelling. This spacious loft style living space features a open floor plan that is not only comfortable but also conveniently equipped with all the amenities of home. The open floor plan gives you the feel of being in a space much larger. All the built in details have been modified for small space living. The ladder to reach the upper loft bedroom is ONLY suitable for healthy able bodied climbers and should be avoided by anyone with knee or ankle issues. THE RISE IS STEEP AND THE DISTANCE BETWEEN EACH STEP IS GREATER THAN WHAT IS TYPICAL, TAKE YOUR TIME !
But once on the upper level you can relax in the comfort of a memory foam mattress and primp in a quaint 1/2 bath. The second bed is a queen size sofa bed with a memory foam topper supplied for extra comfort. This space is clean and new and just for you!
Built only a year ago every aspect of this space is designed for convenience and comfort of long term dwelling in small spaces. The yard space features 2 sitting decks with security gates for private and secure outside areas. While inside provides all of the comforts of home. Clean, quiet and surprisingly spacious enough to sleep 4 comfortably, but, not privately. The entire house other than the bathrooms are open and accessible living areas to make the most of the small square footage. The main house and the backyard cottage are divided by a fence and feature separate entrances. The only thing shared between the two spaces is access to the garbage, located in the alley and only accessible through the back cottage gate.

Other things to note
This is a backyard cottage so the main house sits within close proximity. There has been fencing modifications made to provide both dwellings private yard space with separate entrances. Due to this still being one property garbage is shared by both spaces and access to the back gate for alley access is through the cottage yard. This is the only time that the front house tenants have access to the cottage space.
To ready for new arrivals check out is by 12pm and check in is not until 3pm.
*There is NO microwave in the kitchen.
Smoking is only permitted on the outside decks at least 20 feet from open entrances. Please dispose cigarette butts properly DO NOT leave them in the yard or on the porch. *If you are a heavy smoker you will be responsible through the security deposit for extra cleaning needed to alleviate the smell of smoke left in the house due to clothing odor transfer onto furniture.
No pets are allowed on the property.
No overnight guests other than those on the rental agreement.
Never more than 4 people maximum in the house at one time.
Nothing is to be flushed down toilets other than human waste and toilet paper.
Spices, seasonings and condiments are provided for your convenience.
Only use HE detergent for washer a small amount is provided for your convenience.
Disturbing the front house tenants for any reason is unnecessary and unacceptable. Due to the close proximity of the two houses, being considerate regarding yard use and noise level is strictly enforced. Noise, rowdiness or inappropriate behavior complaints from neighbors will result in eviction without refund.
All guests are required to take out the trash at the end of their stay. Seattle is a recycle city! This means that food, recyclables and trash must be all separated. There are instructions provided in the house to make this easy.
There is a coal burning grill for your outdoor cooking needs, enjoy!
