This house is perfectly situated on the hill from the town centre up to the Alhambra. It has a shady garden, a large roof terrace with a panoramic view of the city and is in a very quiet neighbourhood within earshot of the Torre de la Vela only.
This house was originally built over seventy years ago and was designed with the Andalusian summer in mind. It is cool and pleasant through the heat of the day.
All parts of the house are accessible to guests: bedroom, kitchen, breakfast room, bathroom, outhouse extra wc, garden, roof terrace.
Interaction with guests
My friend Willy (speaks Spanish and English) will welcome you and show you around when I am working outside Spain. He will introduce you to the house and suggest local attractions, especially good tapa bars in the local area.
No smoking inside the house
I'm English and have lived and worked in several countries around the world. I like adventures but I'm not a serious risk taker - paragliding is about as risky as it gets these days. I also like sailing. My current project is 'doing up the house'. I read a lot and have a lot of books on my shelves in Granada. I've been watching more films recently because I have all the Sky channels on my TV here too. Yesterday I saw the best overacting I've ever seen in my life in 'Long John Silver' (1954). Robert Newton made Johnny Depp look understated.
My other interest is finding the best Tapas bars in town.
