The entrance and central stairway of the block look a bit tatty, but the apartment itself is really nice: well decorated, spacious, full of light, nice views to the courtyard with red and yellow plastered houses. There is a nice, large kitchen with a complete inventory. The quality of the bathroom is clearly a step below the rest: overall quality is mediocre, the shower space very small, toilet in a corner behind the door. We found the bed a bit narrow for two. The apartment has no windows to the street, which is good: it makes the apartment very quiet, while the street can be very lively at night. It has a mixture of hip eateries, gay bars, cute shops, barbers and sex shops. At the start of the street is a parking for the Copenhagen (electrical) bicycle sharing system ((URL HIDDEN) You are in the middle of the medieval part of Copenhagen in the old University quarter. If you want to go for breakfast, there are some really nice options around the old University building (Krystalgade). Charlotte welcomed us in the apartment and had bought us some breakfast (we arrived rather late in the evening). Much appreciated.
