Our Family Eco-House is nestled in the heart of the east fife countryside. Only 15 minutes from St-Andrews (home of golf) and countless activities on your doorstep.
This contemporary 4 bedroomed house is a Passivhaus i.e. it is heated by the sun (and a wee log burner, as we are in Scotland) it is well ventilated and boasts lovely views out over pasture. It is cosy, airy, light and spacious. There is a large kitchen/dining room (6x7m) for getting together and hanging out comfortably.
Our house will suit a family who wants to be active, and relax with plenty of room, or a group wanting to take advantage of the many famous golf courses in the region.
Master bedroom, one further double bedroom and two children's rooms - one with 2 bunks and one with a single cabin bed and a single futon. There is also a cinema room with projector that can double as bedroom 5 with a double bed and a sofa bed. Young children live here year-round, so the house boasts a collection of books and toys to suit children of all ages; including a big trampoline (the use of the trampoline is at your own risk).
Large bathroom with walk-in shower, bath and further shower-room downstairs.
Utility room with washing machine and drying pulley, chest freezer and storage for outdoor clothing.
The Kitchen / dining / living room, pictured below, has large windows with direct access to the deck, a great rustic picnic table and Hammock.
This is a lovely, private sun-trap!
