Top (third) floor (no lift), air-conditioned and fully equipped 2 bedroom apartment for a maximum of 4 guests. The building dates from the early 20th century & the apartment was reformed in 2015. Located in a quiet side street (access and parking for permit-holding residents only) but just a minute away from the hustle and bustle with restaurants, shops, bars, banks all within easy reach.
Exceptionally light with a south-west orientation and windows in every room, high ceilings with exposed beams and 2 balconies. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed (150cm x 200cm) and one with 2 single beds (90cm x 190cm & 90cm x 180cm), both with wardrobes, 1 spacious shower room (with walk-in shower) and 1 separate lavatory, living-dining room and fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, oven, induction hob, fridge). There is also a large storage cupboard and a washer-dryer.
The exterior walls are noise and heat insulated and the windows are all double glazed. The apartment is fully equipped with piped air-con (hot and cold), WiFi and flat screen smart TV.
There is no lift but the stairs are quite wide and relatively easy rising to the third floor.
There is a communal roof terrace used by the neighbours to hang out their laundry.
Interaction with guests
I will give you instructions on how to meet up depending on whether you arrive by pubic transport or by hired car. The beds will be made & you are provided with bath towels, etc. For beach goers there is an ice box and an umbrella.
Other things to note
We will ask you to sign a temporary rental contract in accordance with the LAU 29/1994 (Law of Urban Rentals) dated 24 November and Law 4/2013 dated 4 June (without the services of the hotel and tourist industry) and in compliance with Law 8/2012 dated 19 July of the Balearic Islands, article 50/2. If you would like to see a copy before your arrival please just ask.
We have restored our apartment with great care and would love to share it with you. However, please only apply if you are responsible and will look after it. Older children (8 and above) are no problem but we don't consider the property suitable for small children, babies or toddlers. Not permitted: pets, smoking, parties.
There are 2 balconies so you can smoke outside (which you are probably used to by now!).
Maximum occupancy is 4 people. Persons not mentioned during the reservation procedure are not allowed to stay in the flat.
Switch off the lights and air conditioning when you go out.
Please advise immediately if anything gets broken so we have time to get it fixed or replaced for the next guests.
You will be charged for each house key lost.
