Our sunny, beautiful and artfully decorated one- bedroom apartment, three rooms is located on Rue du faubourg-st. denis, in a beautiful, very tranquil, courtyard in an historic Parisian building. Secured with gorgeous double doors. Fully renonvated!

The space

Our one-bedroom, sleeps four and is a fully renovated 40 sq meter flat with high ceilings, and is filled with beautiful natural sunlight and is located in the heart of the 10th arrondissement near the Grands Boulevards in two stops to the Opera and Les Halles. It is a five minute walk to the Gare du Nord and two minute walk to Gare de l'Est, just a quick and lovely walk to the Canal Saint Martin, a beautiful 10 minute walk to Les Marais, and a 15 min mètro ride to the Lourve and Avenue des Champs-Élysées.
The closest subway lines are the lines: 1, 7, 4, 5,8,9, and RER Bet D.
The apartment has been completely renovated and filled with sun, a leather couch that opens up to a full size bed, a writing secretary, plenty of storage, and a grand hallway with track lighting.
It is on the third floor with an elevator in a quiet courtyard and clear with two large double glazed French windows. Très Parisian!
It consists of an American kitchen (large wrap around counter for apèro, stools, and refrigerator, kettle and all necessary dishes and utensils). The bathroom is very clean, sunny and all in tile, including shower and washing machine.

The bedroom is in a separate room with door, that is artfully and gorgeously decorated, facing a double French window and flower box.

At the entrance there is a grand hallway, with shelving for storage, which leads to a separate, fully functioning bathroom.
At your disposal is Wi-Fi a Internet.
The apartment is located on the famous Rue du Faubourg Saint Denis, which is lined with secret passages, trendy bars, restaurants, and cafês. Walking distance to the Canal Saint Martin, excellent restaurants, Quentin Marchèe, boulangries, and wonderful shopping! Galeries Lafayette, the Republic, the Halles du Marais, the Louvre Museum and many other restaurants, cafés
and shops are close by and you will arrive with guide to the neighborhood, and a plethora of books on Paris.

The apartment is quiet and sunny. Like all Paris apartments, it is quite snug. I stayed there with my partner and his 9-year-old daughter. It was very tight with our luggage, but that's to be expected with apartments in Paris. It's safe and quiet, and the elevator is a great at the end of a long day of walking to museums. We were personally welcomed at the apartment with an extensive explanation of the amenities and local eateries, along with a very well-organized book telling us all about the neighborhood. We didn't have time to really dig into all the recommendations, but I don't think you can get bad food in this neighborhood. Everything is interesting and good. The neighborhood is hoppin' at night, but the apartment is still quiet. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés to keep you entertained if you like the night life. It looks like the area is going through some transformation. It is also centrally located, so it's easy to get wherever you need to be. We had a nice time, and the price is right.

I strongly recommend Jennifer´s lovely apartment. It is the perfect place for a couple that wants to live a real parisian experience. It is just a few blocks from both Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est so transportation anywhere in Paris by Metro or bus is possible and convenient. The neighborhood is fun and did not feel dangerous, even when walking at night. It is full of life and ethnic diversity day and night, but not in a crazy way. There is a big market for meats, cheese, breads, produce, and other fresh foods very close and there are small other food markets as well. There are restaurants of many ethnicities on the same block and for blocks around. Inside the flat, the bedroom has a real bed, very comfortable. The decoration is amazing. Big windows let in the sun and air. The furniture is also artistic and interesting. We stayed with our son as there is another bed in the living room but it is not an apartment for little children. Jennifer was great, she gave us all the tips and left all the supplies we could need. As this was her first rental she had some doubts about some practical things of the renting process but everything was perfect and we really enjoy our week in Paris at this lovely apartment.

We are outgoing Franco-Americans who have lived in Paris for 15 years. We are both professionals and love the expat life! We are both fluent in English and French! We are also friendly, very much into the arts, fashion and academics. We love eating out and cooking in, shopping, visiting museums, art galleries, parks and more. Living on Rue du Faubourg Saint Denis is especially exciting due to its amazing history in film and the passage ways are gorgeous. We are accommodating and truly love showing Paris to our friends and family around the world. We are avid travelers, dedicated to living the good life and work to maintain a joyous lifestyle. To sum it up, we are responsible, helpful, fun, artsy, and will be more than happy to be available for any type of guidance needed to make your trip to Paris fantastic!
