Nishant was a great host, he did everything to make our stay more enjoyable, I will be getting in touch with him when I return to Mumbai. The flat was good and the staff hospitable, restaurants and shops are only a short walk away, bars and clubs a short taxi away.

Stayed in one of Nishant's apartments for around 4 nights and it was pretty much as described. Communication was good from start to finish and I even got taken to the apartment in the host's car as my airport taxi service couldn't locate the exact address. Vile Parle is a nice area of Mumbai and I found the local shops and street traders to be friendly which enriched the whole experience. Would definitely stay again.

I made my payment of $ 990 through airbnb and the transaction was processed and money debited from my account on September 23. The policy of airbnb is to transfer the money to the host 1 business day after the customer checks in. Since I checked in on sunday October 7th, and monday was a federal holiday in the US, the money would not have been transferred to the host's account till wednesday morning. Between monday and tuesday, one of the guys who works there asked me about the payment . I told him I already made the payments, and airbnb should soon be sending them the money. He asked me whats airbnb. I told him thats the website his boss registered with to rent the apartment. The next day, the guy again showed up and asked me for money. I told him the same thing and he said if he doesn't get the money by the next day, I have to make a CASH payment! In my dictionary it's called being threatened. When I emailed the person/owner who made the reservation for me on airbnb telling him about his staff member demanding cash payment, he simply emailed me back saying 'its all good, not their fault not my fault" the next time I should make direct payments to them because airbnb is causing problems. Before they sign up for these websites, the owner and the staff need to exactly know what the process should be. Airbnb website clearly states that any issues with any transactions need to be resolved between Airbnb and the host and the customer has nothing to do with it. They clearly need to teach some manners to some of these taporis(hoodlums) who work there if they have to work in the service industry. So if getting harassed for money and being threatened to make cash payments AFTER you made your payments 20 days in advance is your cup of tea, you will enjoy staying at this place. Place is clean but one of the bathrooms and the some of the dishes were dirty when I checked in. One of the bathrooms actually had pee stains on the toilet seat. Since I don't like awkward conversations, I cleaned it off myself. Pluses: the other two staff members Rajender and Santosh were very helpful.

Sorry they were not being informed and the whole email that was sent to you was i am having an issue with Airbnb and if you would have asked us to clean the bathroom we would have no one would have said no . they were not informed yes as they dontknow what airbnb is as it was recently i got on to it and we have been in touch since then . brother i hope u come back next time and enjoy out better . AND WATVH YOUR WORDS WHEN YOU SAY threatened U HAD MY NO. U HAD EVERYONES NO. THERE U COULD HAVE CALLED AND I REPLIED BACK SAYING THERE WAS SOME PROBLEM WITH THE WEBSITE COZ I DINT KNOW MUCH AND YES ITS OUR MISTAKE WHEN U SAY THEY WERE NOT INFORMED BUT THE WORD U USED FOR THE WAY U WERE ASKED FOR MONEY IN YOUR DICTIONARY IT MUST BE THAT AND IF U EVER WANNA KNOW WHAT THE REAL MEANING OF THAT IS MEET ME ONCE AND I SHALL HELP U WITH THE DESCRIPTION EVRY ONE HAS SMALL PROBLEMS BUT PEOPLE LIKE YOU I FEEL AMAZED SOMETIME WHEN U USE SUCH HARSH WORDS
