The view from the apartment was better than I imagined, situated in the historic high part of the town with dramatic cliff top scenery, energising walks and beach below. Nestled in the narrow streets of granite buildings, there are also artist run galleries including Rose's nearby. The dark wooden floor and panelling of the studio apartment, barometers and references to the sea made this an interesting and atmospheric place to retreat to and enjoy the view while having a simple meal and glass of wine. It would suit a couple or single person and is within healthy walking distance of many restaurants, bars, shops, and a cinema and other attractions Granville has to offer.

We had a great time. The location is perfect. We love the old part of the city and the sea. The studio is nice as well. A bit small but for 2 persons it is fine. We would definately recommand this!

We enjoyed our time in Granville a lot: the studio is well located in the very nice center of the old city, close to nice restaurants, cool bars and the sea!

A wonderful room with stunning views out across the ocean in an ancient and quiet part of the town yet with a wonderful cafe and restaurant nearby.

Rose, was away at the time i visited her Studio, but she was available by phone and arranged for someone to meet me with the key, which all went smoothly. The Studio was great, just as described, simple and basic in a good way. I enjoyed sitting in the window watching the sea. The neighbourhood's a real neighbourhood, local bar couple of good restaurants, little tabac ( where you could buy baguettes and croissant) and a few art galleries. The small square was showing Euro 2016 French game in the open air and the atmosphere was friendly and everyone seemed to know each other. The Museum of Modern Art was a 5 mins walk away. In front of the studio ( down steps) is a small beach and swimming when the tide was out. I think the neighbourhood was the star of the visit. I was able to park my car about 2-3 minutes walk from the studio and access to the Haut Ville was easy. I would love to go back just to sit quietly in the window, drink some coffee and eat some croissant while watching the sun shining on the sea.
