Convenient apartment located on one of the most beautiful streets in the East Village. Close to transport, Tompkins Square Park and all the great bars and restaurants that this residential Manhattan neighbourhood has to offer!

The space

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for checking out the place, I really hope it's what you're looking for to make the most of your Manhattan experience! Drop me a line if you have any questions about myself or the place and include a little info about you and your travels.

My place is a fantastic and bright 4th floor apartment (3 flights of stairs) on 9th St, which is widely regarded as one of best streets in the neighborhood. The street is quiet, leafy and safe and yet right in the heart of the vibrant and cool East Village only one block from the famous St Marks Pl. and all it has to offer. Tompkins Square Park is at the end of the block and the subway is only a 5 minute walk allowing you to experience the city as a real New Yorker would!

You'll have the place all to yourself and it's fully equipped for every season with a/c and heating.

The greenies among us might also like to know the place is powered by 100% WIND ENERGY and I try to make environmentally sound purchases wherever possible!

We had an amazing time staying at Dael's apartment! Beautiful apartment, great location & Dael was awesome too! As I had been to NY previously and knew my way around a little, we didn't require much of Dael despite his generous offerings and willingness to help. He responsed extremely quickly when my friend had locked herself out of her bedroom which was amazing. We would recommend his apartment and Dael in a heartbeat. Loved it.

Charming apartment in the heart of East Village. You'll be surrounded by incredible little restaurants, coffee shops and local businesses. Though the space is cozy, it is efficient and clean. It is an older apartment building and space but well maintained. Dale and Meg left a list of great suggestions for tasty eats and we weren't disappointed. I was impressed by his efficient communication and response time. We had an extremely minor issue with the fridge temp due to ice build-up and he had someone in to clean and fix it promptly within 12 hours. It's got ample towels and though we really didn't cook much there were enough supplies in the kitchen to make meals. Beds and linens were comfortable and the air conditioning works well - great as NYC was in the 30's during our stay! Thanks for making our stay enjoyable.

Perfect location. Close enough to everything that's happening, but in a quite building. Walkable distance to subway station. Place was neat and clean. Clear directions to get there and clear house rules. Dael will give you a small guide to the area. A lot of stairs if carrying heavy luggage, but you'll do it just twice, so should be no problem.

The apartment is locating in a convenient and beautiful block. The only disadvantage is the street noise, which indeed affects the sleep.

Hi, I'm an Australian who's been living in NYC now for 4 years, the whole time in the East Village (my favourite hood). I'm originally from Sydney and after finishing up study at University of Sydney I decided to go see the world. I knocked around Europe for a few months …
