A ten Minute walk from the Stadium or to the Station and town in a very quiet Cul-de-sac. Shower bathroom and Separate toilet, Bed room and a bed couch for two and small dining room. I have just had a brand new Kitchen installed in a new extension, I will post more photos ASAP !!

Completely redecorated with Wooden floors, bright sunny Garden.

The space

It is a very light and bright modern place with a cosy feel. The Washing machine is for your use of course. All the required house hold essentials are there.

Guest access

I have a safe drop Key box out side and I can text you your personal code if I am not in the area.

Interaction with guests

I am always available via text / (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) etc as I often am away for work.

Other things to note

The garden is not in the best shape as I have just had a brand new Kitchen and extension built ! More photos to follow !!

I do my very best to stay positive in reviews. I've never reviewed any place for less than 4 stars, so keep that in mind. So in that vein, let's start with the positives: Check-in was a breeze, and the bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked. Then, the negatives which are out of the owner's control: The noise from upstairs is incredibly loud. The walls are very thin, so every step, every word, every chair leg moved, makes a very loud noise. The family has a young child who gets up early - be warned. The noise from the train as it passes behind the apartment is also really loud. Again, neither of these things are the owner's fault, but you should know before you stay here. Things that the owner could fix: Dishes were dirty on arrival, lights were flickering in the bathroom, the shower door was broken and falling off it's hinges, the water temperature and pressure in the shower is lukewarm and weak. None of these things are that big of a deal, but put together, they start to become a real problem. Finally, on our third night, we closed the door of the bedroom quite normally and it jammed shut. We spent two hours trying to open it before giving up and waiting until the morning. We spent another hour in the morning working at it until the door came open. Things happen, but when we informed the owner and asked for a refund of one night due to this, he asked us to have some perspective. All in all the apartment has some beautiful things, it's in a nice location, and the owner was very responsive to issues. But, until the things that are under the owners control are fixed and taken care of, I can't recommend staying here.

The noise from upstairs is something I've not encountered, they do have a child but again I've not had an issue with this. The house backs onto a small river and on the far side is a train line which moved quite slowly in effect. The fact it might disturb some I can't deny but again, it's never been a issue with any other of the many guests in any review. With regard to the light, I changed the bulb upon my return and it being an LED, it must have failed, unfortunately these things happen. Had I known I would have directed the guests to a spare one had they wanted to change it. I've done the same when renting. The shower door is brand new, as are all the gas works, electrics and decoration in the house, using the door over time may well make it slip, but a practical application to that would fix it as I did when I got home. I don't see the problem with the shower , it is new from April this year. The door issue , yes the house has been refurbished in April 2017 , however I do understand the annoying inconvenience caused, again simply seeing the door was sticky from humidity might have avoided a problem. I came back to the house to find a real mess, nothing was tidied from their stay and I felt the house was treated disrespectfully. A minimum of simply putting dirty plates, dirty saucepans and laundry in the washing machine as i had asked, placing rubbish outside would have been appreciated. I treat properties I stay in as my own and with respect. I'm disappointed the guests felt the way they did, however I would not myself welcome them back.

Brilliant for access to stadium for events. Private parking then few minutes to event in one direction or to town in other direction. Steve is helpful, and quick to respond to queries. I'll be back.

The apartment was perfect for us and couldn't be better situated for the stadium. Really nice apartment in a great location. Steve was super helpful in every way, couldn't ask for more. Will definitely be using again when in Twickenham.

Myself and 3 other friends stayed at Steve's place for the London 7s. We were very happy with the location as it was really close to the stadium. The place itself was clean and cosy and was ideal for our stay. Steve communicated very well with us prior to, during and after our stay to make sure everything was okay. I would recommend Steve's place to anyone travelling to the Twickenham area.
