Short walk/bike/uber ride to downtown Boise and Boise State University. 1.5 miles from the airport. Queen sized beds. Private backyard with patio and bbq grill. Long driveway can fit 3 cars or there is plenty of on-street parking.
The newly renovated/added on to home has a retro feel. The landscaping is a (slow) work in progress but inside the home is spacious, comfortable and always clean. Unfortunately (or fortunately if you are an animal lover), the backyard is not fenced in so you may have neighbor puppies and cats visit briefly if you hang around outside.
The whole house is yours, there is an (unexplainably creaky) elliptical and inflatable queen mattress in the smallest bedroom that you are welcome to use. The second bedroom has a queen bed with questionable art and, the largest room (bedroom 1) has a queen bed but the drawers and closet will have my things in it. There is a pretty comfy sofa in the living room that folds out to a double bed. The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry is all available and laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. is out for you to use.
Interaction with guests
My neighbors are nosy but sweet. They are older folks that have lived in the neighborhood a long time. Great people and very helpful if you have questions about Boise!
Other things to note
A wonderful dog park is just a few blocks away off of Roosevelt and Alpine Streets. There are extra linens and blankets in the bedroom closets. The sheds are always unlocked in the backyard and there is charcoal and lighter fluid for you to use on the BBQ. Feel free to help yourself! Six towels are available for you to use but sometimes people need more. No judgment.
Treat me and the house with respect. No smoking indoors and pick up your butts outside. Try not to royally anger the neighbors, although that would be pretty difficult to do…
A nonprofit devote and political junkie that is rarely home. I travel frequently for work and sometimes for fun. There is a lot to see in Idaho and I have only scratched the surface!
