Guest access

If you arrive during the day I will greet you or my lovely assistant will show you around. If you arrive over the weekend or after six I will make arrangement for a key exchange. Please park in the driveway and do not worry if you have to block the garage doors. I am the only person that uses the garage and I seldom need to move a car in or out. You will enter the rear of the building up the stone steps. No worries, it is bright, pleasant and clean.

Interaction with guests

I do not reside at the premises; however, you may interact with guests if you take in the front porch. This is typically where previous guests have mingled. Overall, everyone has been super friendly and welcoming. If you are a walker or explorer type I would certainly recommend taking a morning or afternoon stroll around the Ten Hills Community. Very beautiful landscaping, mature trees and historical homes. You will find the neighbors to be super friendly and quite approachable.

Other things to note

TenHills is steps from Rt 40 and there are many places to shop. There is a Giant grocery store close, Royal Farm, Double T Diner, Home Depot, Lowes, Marshalls, Ross For Less, and the list goes on...all within very close proximity to the property. Also the bus line is steps away, Social Security Administration, UMBC, Spring Grove Hospital, Saint Agnes Hospital and Catonsville Community College are all very convenient to the property,

Wonderful home and location. Brigitte is always a text or phone call away if you need anything or have any questions. She is amazing. I have stayed many of times and would only stay here. Look no further, you have found the best.

There's not much I can add that other reviews haven't mentioned. Brigitte's home is exactly as described,,, clean, quaint and exceptionally quiet. The apartment is perfect for a single person or a couple needing ample space close to Baltimore. Brigitte was very friendly and concerned about my needs. You can't go wrong staying here.

Our stay at Brigitte's was an absolute delight. It's close enough to downtown (about a 15 minute drive) but far enough that it felt like a stay at a serene cabin in the woods. She kept the place stocked—the kitchen cabinets were stocked with snacks, condiments, and a full rack of spices; meanwhile, the bathroom was stocked with basic toiletries and more. She even provided us with laundry detergent and dryer sheets so that we could wash up before leaving. Forgot a toothbrush? Brigitte keeps new ones in her little pantry. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. My boyfriend and I came in late due to the Philly traffic, so she, without hesitation, accommodated to our needs. She is quick to respond to any messages you may have at any time of day. We loved the quaintness of the apartment and area, and it was the perfect getaway home for us. We will definitely be back when we are in the area. Thanks, Brigitte!

We stayed in Brigitte's #2B apartment for two months and we were very comfortable. Being an apartment in an old house, there were a few quirks, so some comprises were made but, in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Apartment #2B is in the rear right of the house on the 2nd floor and, in our opinion, is the best location. Brigitte and her husband, Paul, were very responsive, accommodating, and friendly. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Baltimore.

I enjoyed my stay in this small yet efficient apartment. It is basically a big house with multiple apartment units so the walls are thin and you can sometimes hear other tenants but I adjusted fine. The neighborhood is a nice area. It seems to be family oriented. I did meet Brigtte! She is very nice and made sure I had everything I needed. I overall enjoyed my stay and would stay again.
