Just south of the historic Simon's Town, this large open-plan apartment (entire top floor of double storey home with it's own entrance) perches on the mountainside overlooking False Bay - but it's only a few minutes' walk to some of the finest beaches in the Cape.
Recently refurbished. The top floor of the house is a self-contained apartment with magnificent sea views. It's entirely open plan (apart from the bathroom), with a huge covered patio. The house faces north-east, so early risers will enjoy stunning sunrises breaking over the Hottentots Holland mountains and then lighting up the bay. The refurbishment has resulted in clean and simple lines combining polished cement floors and siding glass doors that emphasize the view and ensure feeling of spaciousness and peace. Quality furnishings with a Scandinavian theme. Glass-enclosed shower.
Guests have separate access to the entire top floor (a fully self-contained unit with kitchen).
Interaction with guests
Hosts Bev and Caesar live downstairs and are ready to assist you in ensuring you have a hassle-free visit.
Other things to note
Although the house sits high on the mountainside, a "secret" path at the bottom the garden leads directly to the seafront, giving guests quick and easy walking access to the pristine beaches (including the world-renowned penguin beaches at Boulders) that form part of the Table Bay Nature Reserve. There are walks in the mountains above as well.
