A light and airy Victorian conversion which would perfectly suit a family of 4 or two couples. A short walk from the town centre and seafront, with 3 bedrooms and a great open-plan living area downstairs with a newly-built kitchen extension opening and fab garden.

The space

A Victorian terrace which has been lovingly renovated. There are 3 bedrooms - a double master with king-size bed, a baby's room with cot and double sofa bed and a toddler's attic room with amazing views of the Downs and the sea. The kitchen has been extended with doors opening out on to a lovely garden. It's not huge but the house is very comfortable for our family of 2 adults, a baby and a 3 year old.

Guest access

Guests have access to the entire house.

Interaction with guests

We will be available at all times, however if we're out of the country there will be a relative who will be on hand to deal with any issues and we are not contactable.

Other things to note

The house is up a rather big hill - quite normal for Brighton but something to consider if you're not used to big hills! There are buses though if you'd prefer to rest your legs. We have two children so have lots of equipment - just ask if there's something specific you need as we're likely to have it. We also have various garden toys for little ones in the Summer.

Fiona's house is just lovely. It's full of character and is also welcoming and comfortable. Fiona could not have been more helpful and communicative from the get-go. The neighbourhood is quiet and perched high above Brighton, so you feel you are really taking a break from the world and yet you are so near amenities and good food if you so wish. We could not have been happier with our accommodation. I would gladly recommend staying there.

Great communication from Fiona. An absolutely lovely family home just outside the hustle and bustle of Brighton town centre. We spent our weekend around the beach and North Laines - the latter brilliant for food and quirky shops. Food for friends especially was a great restaurant. Would heartily recommend.

Fantastic stay in Fiona's lovely home. The perfect base for family holidays in Brighton, Fiona's home is especially good when visiting with little ones. Fiona was helpful, friendly and quick to respond to emails. We had such a lovely time. The house is gorgeous and the location is great. It is situated at the top of a hill, but the bus service is easy to use and gets you home quickly if you don't fancy an uphill walk on the way home! Thank you so much.

We had a lovely stay in Fiona's home- the house was beautifully furnished, light and airy, and the garden was perfect for sitting out on a sunny evening, and working easy walking distance of the station, lanes and seafront. Fiona was very accommodating of us, making sure we had everything we needed and going out of her way to give us a comfortable and relaxing stay- great recommendations for cafes and restaurants as well that we explored! A thoroughly relaxing weekend. The house is perfect for a family or for 2 couples, and we would love to go back again. Thank you!

We loved this beautiful house; it was all we hoped it would be and provided a great base from which to explore Brighton. Everything we needed was left at hand by our kind hosts; including a welcoming well stocked fridge. Thanks so much to Fiona and family.

The process of booking was so easy and Fiona ensured that everything was in place for our arrival. Couldn't have asked for an easier experience. The house itself is really beautiful, comfortable and felt very homely... Totally a home from home. Thank you Fiona and family. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

My friends & I had a lovely time in this beautifully restored Brighton home. We were left orange juice & Prosecco, which was a welcome surprise. Fiona & Merlin were perfect hosts. I will definitely stay again. Billy x

We are a creative couple with two young girls, and we love our home by the sea. There's so much on offer in and around Brighton, it's a great place to bring up kids but there's a lot for the grown ups too!

We're flexible hosts and will do our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
