This is a unique and fantastic find. The "red barn" is extremely well furnished and comfortable inside, although the bathroom and kitchen are small; its actually a luxurious rental. The llamas are incredibly fun to see, and its a great location very close to great restaurants and interesting places to see. Robert is a friendly and considerate host, and check in could not have been easier. Highly recommended.

this place is amazing, i always stay here for a nice retreat from chicago. this place is next to all the restaraunts on red arrow highway and beautiful beaches along Michigan. I have stayed here twice and both experiences have been wonderful. There is also always a special treat from the llama farm that they have on the property. Thes animals are very curious and are bound to make you laugh. i definitely recommend staying here!

Super cute barn loft! Within driving distance to downtown sawyer and the dunes. Note- you're definitely staying in a barn where there are lots of little critters. Not awful, but be prepared as we weren't expecting it.

We had a great time in a very unique venue. The barn is amazing, we enjoyed breakfast on the patio daily and can't wait to go back!

The place is beautiful. Robert is kind and accommodating. We got a great tour of the llamas and the property! We stayed in the red barn during our honeymoon - it was pretty perfect. Will definitely be staying again if we're in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay in the Red Barn! Before I get to any details, I first have to comment on the king sized bed! This was the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. The 2 AC units in the barn kept the temperature perfect on the 80 degree days we stayed. The hosts Robert and Kim were very sweet, communicative, and accommodating. The property sits on a dead end street, so there is no traffic other than the few people that live nearby. You can see and faintly hear I-94 from the property, and a train once or twice a day. We are from Chicago so it didn't bother us. Only a 5 minute drive into town with a grocery store, coffee shop, post office, shops and restaurants. A couple more minutes down the street to get to Warren Dunes & beaches. We loved spending time with the llamas, cat, and dog on the farm. There are 3 sitting areas around the house, and a grill and fire pit for use by all who stay on the farm. It's nice to have several spots to sit to change up the scenery. There is also a playground on the property for the little ones!
